In the 3rd year, students become eligible for sitting in college placement and internship fairs. Many companies visit the college and offer jobs to students. Mainly the companies come for commerce and economics students but some are open for all too. I'm not aware of the highest or lowest placement officer but the average package is around 4.6lpa. I plan on doing master's after the degree.
I chose the course in order to assist myself in my Civil Services preparation. The course curriculum is quite easy in comparison. However, the student-faculty ratio needs improvement. The strength of the students is much higher than the teachers. In terms of teaching, the faculty is commendable and highly experienced. Most of the teachers are quite friendly and easy to go with. The exams were conducted as per the schedule decided by the University of Delhi and the exams were pretty easy to pass.
Campus placements starts from your 5th semester i guess as far as i know Pinnacle -the placement cell of ramjas college offers good job placements with considerable amount of ctc but mentioning again BA programme have near to less options of placements and internships. Companies offer 5.5-7 lacs job packages on yearly basis averagely and highest offered is 15-16 lacs depending upon what you posses. Mostly students from bA prog pursue masters and so i am i want to masters to be egligible for UGC net examinations to be a professor
Student become eligible in final year of their course for placements and other years Students are eligible for internships. Companies visit Ramjas for placements are following Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, PwC, SP Jain, ZS Associates, Towers Watson, Wipro Technologies, Right Relevance, The Oberoi Group, Axis Risk Consulting L&T Constructions, Evalueserve, DeCathalon, S&P Capital IQ, NODWIN Groups. Highest package could 30 40LPA and average range between 4 to 7LPA. Many students gets placed I can't specify any percentage. My plan is to crack civil services exam.
I was interested in this course, faculty ratio is dependent on subjects as it is 1:50, all teachers are post graduated or some r ever phd holders, exams held in every 5-6 months, they were not so easy
I choose the B.A. program for it is the only course that offers two disciplines economics and political science, history, and political science, etc. But the course, faculty, and recognition were given to the B.A. program are inferior. Only the honours courses are taken care of and courses like BAP are just running without any department. The student-to-faculty ratio is very poor it is something around 1:80. Since I've already mentioned that BAP is treated as an inferior course any teacher is assigned for any paper and there's no expertise or proper pedagogy from the teacher. Exams we're difficult to pass and the terms are not consistent due to the COVID break.
B.A. program courses unlike Hons course provide students to study two different subjects at a time instead of one. It offers variety and choices to students to what to pursue further. Ramajs being one of the best colleges under DU for the B.A. program has excellent faculty members. The curriculum for the courses is well planned and laid out. Each semester introduces a variety of new topics to the students in the syllabus. They faculty members are well qualified and they know what they are teaching. The mode of teaching is mostly bi-lingual( hindi & english). DSince the classes are being held online d, different teachers have different methods of teaching. Some teach through power point slides, while others only give lectures. One thing that is a big problem in online mode at the college is the irregularity of the classes. The classes are very irregular. Teachers take class whenever they wish to. Sometimes days pass and no classes are taken. The exams are Open Book Exams and really easy
