My college in good amount of student placed mainly from cse and it branch good package available from reputed company like nvidia tcs infosys 80-90 percent are placed from my college and also opportunity for star up
The college has supportive faculty . the teachers at college are awesome! . they know their stuff and are always ready to help , making learning enjoyable .
The campus buzzes with social and cultural activities, with annual festivals like 'vishwakarandak' and 'vishwatech' typically held in february and march, respectively, offering a platform for students to showcase their talents.

Dislikes

Roads are really bad for the college and the area is also not good
Infrastructure of the college is not too good , it is okay okay . Also the location Behind the college is so crowded and no so good.
Our faculty not giving good internal marks.

VIIT PUNE COLLEGE REVIEW

Likes

The college atmosphere is good here. Almost students are placed in companies.
The startup environment is also good in college.
The course is according to latest pattern.

Dislikes

The college campus is small compared to other colleges.
The college time too much for core computer engineering students.
The college ground is small and does not include much facility for playing.

Placement Experience:

There are good placements at the college. From 6 th sem onwards you can try for placement. Almost 150-200 companies visit campus and 90% of students are placed. The highest package for last year was 33 lpa and the average was about 7.7lpa. I am going for a master's in the US.

Reviewing my college

Likes

College has got a really good placement cell which is highly active.
We have got many computer labs including Mac lab as well.
Extra-curricular activities arranged very often like weekly.

Dislikes

Sports ground is small and can be extended to empty land near college.
Parking space is not enough so students park vehicle in sports ground.
Student section in the college is a little bit strict to students

Placement Experience:

Placement starts from the 7th semester onwards. You can see hundreds of companies visiting colleges for placements. Last year approximately 90% of students got placed. The highest package this year is 21 lpa by Avalara, average is between 5.5-6.5 lpa. Companies like TCS, Infosys, IBM, Deutsche Bank, and many more visit campus every year. I will pursue higher education after my degree.

My College Story

Likes

I liked the teaching sheme which is a combination of modern style and old version
I also liked the curriculum they have i.e syllabus which includes all modern on trend technologies like AI,ML,DS, Blockchain etc
The placement availability and process is also very good.

Dislikes

The student section is not that much supportive.
No option of no cost emi or finance assistance for poor students
Campus infrastructure is small can be enlarged amd improved

Placement Experience:

Placements start from the 7th semester. However, frequency increases during June-August in 4th year. There are hundreds of companies visiting campus with giants like Nvidia, BlackRock, Deutsche Bank, and many more but each student can only make one offer. If you get one offer you are out of the placement activity. The highest package offered as I remember is by Nvidia i.e. 33LPA and the average lies from 5-7 lpa. The placement percentage as per last year's record is 85% - 90%.

As I choose computers because of my interest in computers. The overall faculty is very friendly and always free to solve students' issue. The exams pattern is very easy it is divided into 2 terms midterm and end-term

VIIT-Should you consider it

Likes

The atmosphere the students around make u feel like to learn more and spend time in college.
Also institute has training and placement cell which ensures students get placed
Infrastructure is small for college but it has enough variety of lab like Mac lab Linux lab and windows lab for different type of development

Dislikes

Campus is very small compared to its competitors u expect more from it.
Cultural fest are good but not at that level compared to others.
Teachers are good but expect you to write research paper for every project you make.

All the students are good here you can easily make your coding group
Great placement opportunities available.

Dislikes

75 % attendance in all subjects for suiting in examination
Management needs to improve a bit .
Some teachers are very very strict. .

Name of the Companies visited & no of offers made NVDIA - 14-15 LPA, IBM - 12+ LPA, TCS, INFOSYS- 10+ LPA, etc. Percentage of students getting placements - 90%. Your plans after getting the degree - getting a minimum 50 LPA package.

College Review

Likes

Technical cells are very active and organizes various activities.
Cyber Cell of the college is the best club ever.
Teachers are good and co-operative in our problems.

Dislikes

The crowd is kinda more regional like most of the students are from Maharashtra state only.
sometimes teachers teach whole lectures in Marathi which is difficult to understand for OMS category students.
The area in which the college is situated is not that good.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for internships after 4th semester. Companies are not too frequent in the start but they do come to offer even PPO. The highest package varies every year last year it was around 33 LPA and the average package is 6-7 LPA. 80 percent of students get placed. I want to have my own startup after college.

One of the good things is placement, the placement for tech branches that is cse, ece / entc, it and Aids are good. But of core branches, it is worst. The avg package for tech branches is 9-12 LPA for core branches it is 4-6 LPA.

Best college in respective of placements

Placement Experience:

There are more than 150 companies that have visited for placements the highest was 32 lakh and the average package was about 7-8 lakh most of the students in CS and IT branches get placement and core companies visit no. Is about 5% which offers dream packages, some famous companies visit are NVidia, amazon, Wipro, and TCS.
