Remarks

I got my admission from the cet percentile through the Maharashtra government website of selection through it. I have applied through the news category due to which I got a concession on my fees which is 1 lakh rs.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was a bit interested in electronic engineering so I opted electronic engineering branch at VIT Pune. Faculties here are much supportive and help students in every aspect without any hesitation. The faculty ratio is maintained in our college

Fees structure Is the same for all branches in this college .that is 2 lakh per year for each student as this is an autonomous college. Scholarships are provided for eligible students like news obc categories etc

Campus Life

The annual tech fest is held every year for approximately 3 days. Extracurricular activities are much held in our college. All the clubs are active and students take active part in clubs and every events

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

VIIT -a good option?

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college...Read More
