Course Curriculum Overview
Well CSE from VIIT means you will churn out to the one of the finest engineers of our country. There's nothing which I would like to change as our course isn't just competent but also teaches us a lot during a lot of tech events which are hosted by our college. Also, we are pushed to participate in other Hackathons and all and are funded by our college itself.
Internships Opportunities
Cognizant and Tech Mahindra gave internships to us in 3rd year and it was an experience of lifetime. Both have offices in Pune and that mare things easy for me. Also, they paid 15k as stipend making this even better for interns like us.
Placement Experience
LTI, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, and Microsoft are some of the players who have been with VIIT Pune for more than decades now. Tech enabled companies like the Fintech and others too come to our college for placements and around 80% is the placements record from our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
VIIT Pune is Pune's leading engineering college and the fees is still just 1.06 lakhs. While other Pune colleges charges 3-4 lakhs a year, VIIT Pune is an exception. Plus for SC and ST students Maharashtra goverment scholarship programs make the fees almost nil.
Campus Life
As per Pune's standards our college is quite big indeed and getting chilla of that will always be an overhang. A lovely college and more than that a very lovely atmosphere where Parikshit our coding society has become q marquee name now. Our fest is both cultural and tech and it's called Gandharva. The best part is that students are fully in charge of that.
Admission
CET is the way to get admission here and I was getting admission in PICT as well. So I had confirmation from there but VIIT is an old pedigree and therefore a percentile of 99 made it possible for me to opt for this college.
Faculty
Government may have subsidized the fees but still the most prolific professors are the ones who teach at our college. The reason why so many engineers have been churned here is purely because of the excellent professors that we have.
Night Life
Petu areas of Pune which is the old Pune is close to our college. Otherwise though Beer & Beans, The Village Pune and the Silent Partner are among the top restaurants which are close to our college and are opened till 1 am.
