Course Curriculum Overview

5

1)First of all the course has all the things needed for AI industrial needs like DBMS, DATA VISUALIZATION,SOFT SKILLS,MACHINE LEARNING,AI and many more 2) as mentioned above everything is needed for industrial requirements 3) Students english speaking skills are decreasing beacuse in campus they converse in Marathi and native languages .SOFT skills course was audit course they should keep it as a course with more credits

Internships Opportunities

3

Good inetrnships are provided after 6 th sem we need to just search them through college Tpo .I havent done any internship till date but some of my friends earned a stipend of 10,000 per momth in part time internships .Project based internships are also provided by teachers which are very used for patent and research papers

Placement Experience

5

From 6 th semester students get eligible for campus placements .Many big companies like NVIDIA ,AVAYA, BLACKROCK ,WOLTERS CLUVER , PHILLIPS, TATA, INFOSYS give a decent pacakge to students .Last year 83 companies visited campus .HIGHEST PACKAGE -44 LPA AVG PACKAGE 7 LPA .83 percent of students are getting placed and others searching for offcampus and have started to go for higher studies but this percentage will degrade this year as students intake is doubled so more competition and recssion will lead to lower chances of getting placed. My plans are to just get placed in a decent company offering 10+ ctc. there are rules of TPO for the students who are placed .Once you are placed you will be banned from tpo and should not be allowed to sit in in campus jobs further

Fees and Financial Aid

I belong to open category i pay 1,84,610rs fees including everything from admission fees college fees exams fees. For EBC and Ews it goes upto 1,07,000 approx, for SC and ST candidates it goes 6000rs approximately ,for TFWS 29,000rs approx, for NT A B C 27000 approx. In my fees which is 1,84,610 rs we have 1,54,782rs tution fees ,development fees 23,218rs,exam fees 2500rs and misc university fees 4110 rs.There are scholarships for girls like MAHADBT and the hostel scholrships are also there of punjabrao deshmukh .Catalyst scholarship is also there .But for open and general candidates you have to fill up the whole fees

Campus Life

3

Overall campus life is boring for the students who are interested in extra curricular activities. SO technical fests are held in month of feb during gandharva fest and apart from this technical events are held by individual departments as per their schedule .they provide a good support to technical fests rather than non technical ones.sports are only held once in a year students can participate in inter college tournaments due to attendance criteria and fear of less internal marks students are bounded in academic schedules only .There are clubs GFG ,GOOGLE CLUBS,TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CLUB ,DEPARTMENTAL CLUBS, ROBOTICS FORUM, VISHWARACERS -BAJA CLUB, these are technical ones .Non technical ones include AVISHKAR (KARANDAKS) AND ROTARACT

Hostel Facilities

5

My hostel was madhura girls hostel in sai nagar it had rent of 5k per month mess exluding we had tiffin providers .They provided us with the facilities of cleaning, security ,cctv, unlimited wifi, spacious rooms having bed and tables for each girl.girls should chose hostel faraway from college as near college slums arent good for girls safety .This hostel was 1.5 km from college gate

Admission

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college

Faculty

3

1)Faculties are good and approachable i repeat only some faculties .Some departments which are new have less faculty and their ratio is low. Some faculties if they have grudges with students they even try to fail them as all 60 percent internals are with them 2)In my whole three years of college i only liked one faculty but i cant mention him 3)many of them arent that supportive so list is big 4) As per the new curriculum of viit and vit merge 60 percent internals and 40 percent exams theory paper for theory paper they give only 90 minutes which arent sufficient .Scoring is difficult and passing is easy in VIIT students usually get backs once in a blue moon.

Night Life

1

late night activities arent there as our college is beside slum area so girls arent allowed after 6 pm .Even hostels arent provided by college ,hostels outisde campus are opted by students for residing . near college hostels are costly like 10k per month (mess not including). There are min 4 cafeterias in college having good food ,friendly staff

Students can start internships from first year itself, but even though the faculty members help students to get them, the internship needs to be off-campus. On-campus internships start from the third year itself, but mostly the students get in for an internship in the fourth year
