Likes

The atmosphere the students around make u feel like to learn more and spend time in college.
Also institute has training and placement cell which ensures students get placed
Infrastructure is small for college but it has enough variety of lab like Mac lab Linux lab and windows lab for different type of development

Dislikes

Campus is very small compared to its competitors u expect more from it.
Cultural fest are good but not at that level compared to others.
Teachers are good but expect you to write research paper for every project you make.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I want to learn about computer Engineering and everything related to computers. The quality of teachers here is great and they are great at teaching. Term exams are not as difficult to pass even one week of study is enough.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I have not been offered an internship because I am in 2nd year but students get offers from Nvidia Accenture and various other companies. Students are very strong in terms of their fundamentals so some students took internships in their second year itself but companies come officially for 3rd year.

Placement Experience

Placement is available to computer-related branches and also to some core branches although mech and civil have low placement offers if you study well you can definitely get placed in core fields as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a scholarship available from the government for reserved seats or EWS-like financial assistance otherwise you will have to pay complete fees which are almost 170000 rupees. So the cost to study is high so make sure u are getting a scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus is not as big u will have to adjust to its small size but the atmosphere around encourages you to learn more and understand more programming related activities. There are various clubs like BAJA which is an f1 race car, especially from the mechanical branch but anyone can join any club.

Admission

It was done according to the market cap round and I got into this college in 1st itself. I got Vj reservation benefits and you can find the application form on MHTCET official website. I think there is not as such need for improvement in the admission process

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

VIIT -a good option?

1) I applied to VIT pune ,COEP pune ,PICT pune,CUMMINS ,PCCOE . I didnt get these colleges because i didnt have percentile for merit for that college i had 95.84 percentile and their cutoff for CS branch was 97 at that time which was difficult for me . 2)students can enroll in our college using MHTCET and JEE mains score .Through cet cell there are cap rounds total three and last one spot round (may have changed now).Apart from this there are no tests or exams to get an admission in this college...Read More
