Course Curriculum Overview
CSE is the most demanded course in India right now and VIIT is Pune one of the best engineering colleges in Pune. For each subject, there are approximately 3 faculties and the same goes for the lab practicals. Mostly all faculties have either completed their Ph.D. or their masters from good prestigious institutes access India. Most of the teachers are very well experienced in their respective fields. You can clear any doubts with any teacher you wish. Teachers prepare well before teaching a particular topic. Overall there is good academic growth. As the college is autonomous they have their exam pattern though the clg is autonomous it is affiliated to SPPU (Pune University). The College has various grades approved by AICTE and NAAC And we have recently got TIER 1 accreditation from the NBA Committee for most of our courses. For the paper pattern, you have 4 subjects theory + 2 subjects (no exam just term work )
Internships Opportunities
Name of the companies and roles offered under internships with stipend - RAZOR PAY, GOLDMAN SACHS, IBM, NVIDIA (50-75k / month), Mention projects and outcomes to clarify the tasks--depending on the role or applying for.
Placement Experience
From which semester do students become eligible for campus placements - For internship Sem 6 ends for placements - after the 8th sem. Name of the Companies visited & no of offers made NVDIA - 14-15 LPA, IBM - 12+ LPA, TCS, INFOSYS- 10+ LPA, etc. Percentage of students getting placements - 90%. Your plans after getting the degree - getting a minimum 50 LPA package.
Fees and Financial Aid
As the college is autonomous the fees are relatively high going around 1.8L/ per. If you get admission through the cap round and have an income certificate you can get an MAHA DBT scholarship in which you get 50% of tuition fees off.
Campus Life
Annual Fest - Gandharva, Tech fest - SCI-TECH Usually conducted in February end. Availability of books & journals in the library is good, all books are available. Amenities in classrooms - SMART STUDY PROJECTORS AND blackboard for easy understanding. Various clubs are there like robotics, CISCO networking, MESA, CSI, etc.
Admission
Your percentile of the MHTCET Examination must be up to the cutoff given by the institute. The cutoff of CSE at VIIT usually varies between 97.5 -98% ile. For MHTCET Examination clearance you must have scored > 135/200 in your HSC boards PCM (for general) you can also replace chem with bifocal subjects like IT, CS, electronics, etc.
