The first thing is about location i.e. Pune. As Pune is known as IT hub so I think I could get the atmosphere which will help me to grow my technical skills. The type of people surrounding us also matters alot

this college is one of the top 4 colleges in pune for studying engineering. choosing this college among others is quite easy as this college provides with most percentage of placements in good companies than other colleges. Along with placemnts we are also provided with amazing internships and other skills helping students in professional area. Admission process is simple as we have to submit our marksheet and other exam results and yes that is it.

• I got 90.67 percentile in JEE Mains and 98.27 percentile in MHT CET, with this scores I didn't had any options but to go with state colleges. • I applied for all branches of COEP and VJTI alternatively from top to bottom eg. 1.COEP CS ,2.VJTI CS,3 COEP IT.... and so on. I kept COEP at higher priority because I live in pune. My third priority college was PICT and fourth priority being VIT pune continued by VIIT. •I prioritiesd my Cap round list from past years cut off (higher cutoff branch at top). •I got VIIT CS(TFWS) software engineer at Cap 1. Since I luckily got TFWS seat so as usual I didn't wanted to loose it and for further cap rounds I changed my list as keeping the top order coep and pict college the same and only the vit TFWS seats. •I didn't participate in any spot round since I was already satisfied by my seat.

I choose that college at No. 07 because placement percent of VIIT is narly 87% at that time, which good as compared to others. I preffered that college because It is Autonomous Institute, it's average package was near to 7 lakh LPA, and i also wanted tech branch so I got CSE-AI department which was new branch related to tech branch and also today world uses AI technology. I also got TFWS(Tution Fee Wavier Scheme) seat so it is benificiary for me. I took placements (specially of Tech Branches), NIRF Rankings, Fees Structure and Average Package as parameters to compared beteween all colleges. I didn't get some top colleges like COEP,PICT,WALCHAND,VJTI,VIT,etc. due to my rank in MHT-CET i also wanted tech barnch so i not get in that colleges. Admisssion Process of our VIIT is smooth and good. It not lengthy but not also quick. All instruction of Admission process in college given by admission community are perfectly and good. So no one got any problem during admission process.

I have taken admission after completing my diploma so I got direct admission in second year . Based on diploma percentage I got admission in VIIT college, application form, fees and dates are same as other colleges as I have taken admission through CAP round. I have got admission from OBC quota so cut-off for Electronics and Telecommunication branch was 86. For open it was 90. And other branches like CS IT it was bit higher.

The admission process of college is very smooth the process is very fast and easy. I got admission in viit on 28 September I completed my admission process in half an hour, but for students who took admission though spot round it takes too much time

as per maharastra rule you need to minimum 45% in 12th boards . this is top institute so the cutoff is high as you need to score more than 97% in cet mains like above 93% . In the admission process there is low faculty to take admission so be care about this and you need all types of document.
