- Placement Cell of our college is very good, lots of well known companies are brought by them for placement which gives high paying jobs
- Faculties are well trained and very professional they support students in every activities
Dislikes
- Accommodation is not up to the point, hostels, PGs and flats are 1-2 km away from college
- Roads are really bad for the college and the area is also not good
Course Curriculum Overview
As our college VIIT is an autonomous institute, the curriculum is updated every 2-3 years. The curriculum is way ahead of other universities. New technologies are added as course subjects so that the students can have knowledge about that tech for readiness towards industries. There are two exams insem and endsem each of 30 marks. Combine passing is there.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided by college in startups as well as well-known companies like Nvidia, IBM, Seagate, Blackrock, etc. Average range of stipend is around 7000 to 50000. Roles like software engineer intern, trainee backend engineer, etc are offered. Internship is compulsory for every student as the internship is itself a module in 4th year. So college provides internships to all the students
Placement Experience
From 6th semester we are allowed to take part in placement process. The eligibility is vary based on the company some companies have cut-off of 7 CGPA, some have 8 or 8.5 it varies. Some of the company names that visited our college are IBM, blackrock, infosys, MSCI, seagate, siemens, wolters, etc. each company gave offers to 5-20 students. Average package is around 6lakh/year. Around 60% students get placed the ratio has decreased after COVID but now the ratio is becoming better day by day.

University fees: 2588 Project fee: 750 Passing certificate fee: 250 The above-given breakdown is for OBC students. For Open the total fee is around 185000, for SC ST it is around 15000.
Campus Life
Techno-cultural event Gandharva is there every year in the month of February-March. The library of our college is good it has around 400000 books all the curricular and extra-curricular books are available. In college, there are different forums like CSI, ACM, IOT, CESA, EESA, MESA, EDC, etc. Clubs like GDSC and Geeks for geeks are also there.
Admission
I have taken admission after completing my diploma so I got direct admission in second year . Based on diploma percentage I got admission in VIIT college, application form, fees and dates are same as other colleges as I have taken admission through CAP round. I have got admission from OBC quota so cut-off for Electronics and Telecommunication branch was 86. For open it was 90. And other branches like CS IT it was bit higher.
Faculty
Faculty members are really good and very collaborative and professional in nature. Al the facultiy members are well trained and highly qualified like PHD or other degrees. For every 25 students there is a mentor in our college throughout the completion of degree that teacher remains same every month class teacher meeting is there so interaction with each faculty is very easily possible
