Vaibhav More's Review On Vishwakarma Institute Of Information Technology - [VIIT], Pune

After my graduation I have decided to prepare for competitive exam, so I am studying for Engineering Service Exam (ESE).

To be honest first three month I never understand whats going on and suddenly first semester exam time table came. then I realise its time to study and I started the study and got good marks. Over all course structure was good. Which include five subjects from mechanical branch which is 100 marks each. There were oral exam for 2 or 3 subject which is for 50 marks per each for all 8 semesters.

VIIT and VIT both are well known for their placement. There was very good placement and job opportunities for every student in VIIT College. Near about 125 national and international companies visiting for campus recruitment of 3.5 to 4 lac average packages. There were No. of companies visiting such as Infosys, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra , TATA, TE Connectivity, cybage, Wipro and many more.

There was many cultural and technical events held in our college. Some events are Department wise and some are gathered together by the all department. There are following events organised in our college. Perception- It is technical event, Gandharwa- It is cultural event, Mechgratia- organised by Mechanical department, SciTech- organised by Applied Science department.

There was scholarship for SC, ST and other category student. Also there is loan facility available in our college.

College hostels are too expensive by their facilities, so I used to live in private hostel. There are many private hostel near to the college campus with reasonable rates. which was near about 25000/- per year. First three year I lived in hostel and in final year i moved in flat. And it is much better than college hostel as well as private hostel.

My college is very well known for alumni network. In our college every year . Alumni meet organised and passout student gather together and share their experience. This year alumni meet organised on last week,on 24 Dec 2016.

From staring my focus on Engineering. After 12th Clearing MH-CET Exam I have applied for engineering and specially I wanted to be an Mechanical Engineer, so i have applied for Mechanical Engineering. And I got this College in first CAP Round which is 3rd college in the list of 20 college.
