- Aerospace related labs available, various multicultural fests , technofests , sports etc made easily available for students.
- Cleanliness of toilets (maintenance daily), aerospace related events that are very useful in understanding basics,
- Some faculties are really supporting and caring have vast knowledge in their field.
Dislikes
- Assignments can get really tiring due to last minute syllabus completion.
Course Curriculum Overview
course subject are related to the specified branch , related to my interest real life solutions and questions are solved irrespective of the time / duration of the lectures. the only fact is the assignments should be give on time other wise it will cause a burden.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are offered in various field in aerospace like in DRDO , HAL , where studeents gets hands on experience on their respective field .Students even work on various mini and major projects which eventually enhances them as their base for their carriers.
Placement Experience
there are placements offered for aerospace students in prestigious places like HAL , DRDO but starting would be less like 3-4lk / annum. If students wish to continue their studies they get various Mtech oppurtunities in Israel,Ireland, USA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Current Year fee (My)-223000 increases every year by 10/15k , pays in 2 installments in 2 semesters. tution fee all included in main fee classmates fee ranges from 2.5-3 as they joined late/less marks.
Campus Life
Campus is huge so walking becomes a primary source , there are various fests like Persona where famous people come and talk with students ,Various clubs are present in the university from indiviual schools like school of engineering, etc
Admission
MIT ADT had aerospace engineering which i was not aware till my 12th std , once i gave myCET exam i had even got provisional admission in HITS chennai for aeronautical , at first i thought aerospace course would be tough choise but i realized it was the best decision. at 1st i had to show my 12th grade and cet marks later i had to give their peracet exam college entrance exam.
Faculty
Highly knowledegable in their respective domains but are very strict about class discipline. there are 2 exams conducted per semester ie mid sem 30 marks and end sem 50 marks even practical. marking schemes of the exam pattern are 5,5,5 per question based on low , medium, high .
Night Life
I am a day scholar so i might not know about the night like so much , nuy there is gym in and around campus , hostel food is available 3 /4 times a day , various hotels , are also present around the campus where students can enoy leaving the hostel mess.
