The B.A. LL.B (Hons.) program at BHU begins with an online application for the BLAT entrance exam from January to March, with the exam held in May. The faculty is experienced, with some members having notable legal backgrounds and teaching experience from prestigious institutions. The fee structure is reasonable at approximately Rs. 65,000, including Rs. 60,000 for special courses, Rs. 3,436 for hostel fees, and Rs. 1,500 for university fees.
Additional expenses for food and stationery bring the total to Rs. 1,30,000 - Rs. 1,60,000, much lower than the fees at National Law Universities. Last year's placement included Ola and TCS hiring 10 students with packages starting at 7.5 lakh per annum, marking the first significant placement since the program's inception in 2013. The highest package offered was 18 lakh per annum, with 20% of the students securing positions averaging between 7-8 lakh.
The alumni network is particularly strong in litigation. While the college does not offer direct scholarships, students can access central and state government scholarships. The annual tuition and fees remain stable at 62,000 INR.
