Likes
- Faculty members are very advance having great knowledge in their respective domain who help us in every possible way
- We have a very big library where we have a collection of 85000 books related to law
- Moot court and other extra curricular activites
Dislikes
- We have only 26 seats in hostel for boys and for girls also there are very less seats so not everyone gets hostel accomodation
- We don't get regular breaks for intership and all compared with nlus where they get summer and winter vacations
- We have regular Classes and we have to attend atleast 70% of classes
Course Curriculum Overview
BALLB course is a special course as we are able to complete law and BA together in less time. We get a lot of real world experience through interships, the real India. We can improve by removing the compulsion of 75% attendance by which we can go for interships and all. Also we can prepare for exams. We have 4 exams in a year. 2 semester exams and 2 mid sem exams
Internships Opportunities
In our clg we have intership cell which provide us with intership under advocates and judges too of high court and SC. Some of them are paid and some are not. Law is a diverse field and we have a lot of different opportunities in intership. There is a diverse area of intership
Placement Experience
College placement is there. Here people get 7-8lakh placement on an average (20% got placed last year out of 60 total students). If we didn't get placed we can go for LLM or litigation or preparation of different law exams. Highest placement was 18lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
We have 62000 fee per year which is our tution and other fee. We don't have any condition of fee hikes. Some of my friends got scholarships a well like UP state scholarship, reliance foundation scholarship, etc.
Campus Life
We don't have too much fests in college but we have some fun on 15 August and 26 January also on vasant panchami as BHU was established on that day. Our library is very big having a collection of 85000 law books also we have a Central library which is even bigger than this one. We have sports regularly those who are interested
Admission
Admission process was very hectic as we have to clear cuet which is conducted by NTA Then it took a lot of time for results and cutoffs of different universities. What i didn't like is the process of 3-4 month after giving cuet exam we have to wait for admission
Faculty
The faculty is highly qualified in their respective domain. They are always available whenever we want any help even during non working hours. We have many teachers for the same subject so we can ask any doubt with other teachers too they are very helpful
