We don't get regular breaks for intership and all compared with nlus where they get summer and winter vacations
Placement Experience:
College placement is there. Here people get 7-8lakh placement on an average (20% got placed last year out of 60 total students). If we didn't get placed we can go for LLM or litigation or preparation of different law exams. Highest placement was 18lpa
Less placement opportunities after graduation but a bunch of placement after post graduation.
There are various post graduation courses which all provide good placement opportunities.
In MBA LAW IIT COMMUNICATION various companies came here fir hiring.
Ola and TCS visited for last year's placement. They took in 10 (3 & 7 students) in total with 7.5 lakh per annum to everybody. This was the first time placements happening here as the course started in 2013 itself (2018 batch didn't get any placement). Bad thing about this was our law faculty didn't give a damn to the recruiters for providing them facilities nor our faculty approached many people to invite them for recruitment. They came, they selected best candidates, all by themselves and they went.Yes, all selected one are doing their job Really well. (They joined 2, 3 months after their course completion)2 of them left their job to join some tire-1 law firms.
The placement given by our faculty of law is absolutely right here 70 to 80% students got placed in different companies, form or under senior advocates. Our college provides internship program and all documents which is useful for internship is given by them
The placement committee is still working and we hope that it will be functioning effectively in atleast 2-3 years positively. One cannot find Job if he or she is totally dependent on any of the Universities. One must build his/her CV so well that job opportunities are offered to them. For building CV, one must regularly do Moot Courts, write research papers, do internship at law firms etc.
Although this school is widely famous for producing judges.but unfortunately there is not satisfactory placement ratio from this school. But even there are Few students each year got placed in different PSUs and corporate sector as a legal officer.
This law school provide internship twice in evety year in different Courts of india.
Since no batch has been passed out yet so there is no record for placements yet.
But as our 1st batch would be pass this year, placement cell is active at college and invitations has been sent to various law firms and companies from the college to come for placement.
And as I mentioned above there are various who has their internships at top tier law firms, so assuredly there'd be placement.
Above mentioned facts were all about the corporate, now let me tell you about judiciary. In 3 year LL.B. Course there were 98 selections in PCSJ last year may be that's the reason BHU is known as judge's factory.
Since I am new to this college I have a very little knowledge about the current placement scenario in our college. Our batch is the pilot batch and hence we'll have to wait till our time for placement arrives. Though, placement for other courses is excellent and most of the students gets placed through on-campus placements.
