I had an immense passion for the BBI course and wanted to pursue that since 11th from the very prestigious JAI HIND COLLEGE, MUMBAI. The faculty is highly qualified and almost everyone is a Ph.D. holder the teaching method was also very modern and hi-tech. The student Ratio was 7:3 where 7 is the female gender and 3 is the male gender. Regular tests were conducted and the difficulty was easy to medium. Term exams were also in a regulated manner.
I had a keen liking for Banking due to which I decided to opt for this course. The faculty is qualified and has teachers who have worked in various industries. Exams were on a 3-6 months timely basis and if you paid attention in the lectures it would be easy to pass.
I chose this course because I feel like I can do this whole management thing. Also, there are 2 sections each of 60 students so every student gets enough attention from the faculty. I can't say anything about the faculty..well I mean some of them are par excellent in their job. some of them are just average they do help out in extra curriculum activities and some of them even motivate us to take part in fests.
The course provided a good exposure as well as good knowledge of banking and insurance field. The class strength is pretty much good as it only has 70 students and the teacher is helpful as well. The exams are conducted on a semester basis where 60 is externals and 40 is internals.
This is 3 years course offered in semester system. Strategic management, managerial economics, Business statistics , Introduction of financial account etc are the subjects divided into six semesters. Candidates leadership quality along with the problem solving and decision making skills make them noticable for the faculty.
INR 60097 is the total fees for the programme and the fees are paid in 3 installments. I was eligible for an academic scholarship of INR 20000, by Japanese Sumitomo Scholarship based on the marks scored.
The permanent as well as visiting faculty are experienced and are from various industries relevant to the course. The learning process was interactive. We studied with the help of visual PPTs, Case studies and various projects.
The fees is very affordable for all course. For unaided it's a bit high will be around 20000 but for aided around 10000 and the form fees which was around Rs 200. The college accepts both online and offline payments. It also provides railway concession.
The programme fee in respect of what they're giving to the students is very less. It's only 20, 000 for the first year which reduces in the next year. The mode of payment accepted is DD. No, additional fees are required to be paid. Yes, the college provides a fee receipt which explains the fee-breakdown.
The fee is very cheap. Its like 15000 for first year, 17000 for second year and 20000 for third year. I guess they get a grant from government or something but it's very cheap and what they offer is very expensive.
