What Students Say
Likes
- Teaching Staff - Teaching staff and professors were top tier and very kind to my doubts.
- Education System - Education system was also good, from a guy who's coming from Rajasthan, it was fascinating to study in Mumbai.
- Infrastructure - Infrastructure was also great including the Canteen and Library and especially the Auditorium.
Dislikes
- Campus Size - Campus size was a bit small, it could've been a little bit bigger.
- Document Process Not Smooth - Physical verification of documents was not smooth at all, and we students had to waste a lot of time of ours.
- Delay in Backlog papers - Backlog papers were conducted very late with bad communication and the result of that paper was also delayed a lot.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had an immense passion for the BBI course and wanted to pursue that since 11th from the very prestigious JAI HIND COLLEGE, MUMBAI. The faculty is highly qualified and almost everyone is a Ph.D. holder the teaching method was also very modern and hi-tech. The student Ratio was 7:3 where 7 is the female gender and 3 is the male gender. Regular tests were conducted and the difficulty was easy to medium. Term exams were also in a regulated manner.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees were amazing considering the college is in the finance capital of India, 20000 was to me a very good price to pay for college fees. The cost of study can be considered a little bit high as doing anything in Mumbai has to be expensive. I didn't receive any Scholarship or financial Assistance in college. I didn't get any job on campus.
Campus Life
"Entourage" was our annual fest of the JHC which was filled with enthusiasm and youth. It usually happened in the November - December period. The library was average nothing special. Classrooms were excellent with AC, Projector, and Good Benches. Sports was encouraged but not that very much. Extra Curricular activities were great with many social groups and clubs. Students were proactive in JHC and there was something for everyone.
Admission
There was no entrance exam for admission. Admission was based on merit. I applied for the college on the college website with my 12th Boards Marksheet and waited for the selection list. Application fees were around 500. Reservation was available for OBCs, SCs, STs, PwD, Sports, ECA, and other regional minorities. The allotment List could be improved.
