I got admission to this college on the basis of marks obtained in IPU CET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test) exam . The exam provides admission to its technical courses related to marine courses . You need to fill an online application form from the official website .

Our college is one of a kind. As a college, you always think about placement, which is assured here. Moreover, it has a soothing environment and guiding seniors. The alumni network is also excellent. Staffs are also hard working.

Tech marine engineering is provided to the students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized Indian Board with at least 60 percent and has also given entrance exams IMU CET. students are selected on merit and interview basis.

Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies has really taught all the pros and cons of being a marine engineer. With a ship present in the campus the practical work is encouraged. Faculty members are really helpful in the same and really initiate interactions. Ambience adds up to its good points.

Positive comments: the above mentioned all comments are positive and the college has a very good ambience for studies and swimming pool and many more facilities are provided.
Negative is few people feel it to be a bit costly but it is not for what they provide.

Sports day and freshers and farewell are some of the festivals and celebrations that are organised in our campus. An annual fest is also conducted here in which students from the institute participates.
