Government Polytechnic, Mumbai is an autonomous institute established in 1960. The Institute has also been approved by AICTE. The Institute is known for its flagship Diploma courses. Dislikes

It's a bit far from the railway station.
The infrastructure is a bit old fashioned

I was also applying for Thakur college but I tell that GPM was a better choice. This was my first college in my priority list and I had received the same college The admission process was very easy and simple which was covered in the same day and all the process was done by the staff present over there

Some classrooms are dirty and very old and definitely need to be cleaned

I chose this college first because of the fees, secondly i heard great things about this college and its faculties, third the practicals here are really good thus i had selected this college, this was my second pick though, i had first selected VJTI college even tho the fees was higher there still the over all college was better more or less, anyways the admission process is fairly simple you can et accepted through cap round after 10th or 12th or you can even get through non cap but i would recommend trying on cap rounds first

Likes

campus is beautiful. It is located in the western express highway so reaching to college is easy.
Sports and other activities are also there so college life is fun

Dislikes

Things i disliked is ground. ground is not clean enough

Admission:

It was quite easy . Only thirty minutes was the time for admission process. Every faculty member was helpful. My course duration is three years. As my caste is OBC there was no reservation for me but it was not a big deal. My marks were enough for admission.

The college was a bit difficult to reach or travel

Admission:

The eligibility for the course was HSC or ITI. You can find the application form from the college's official website. The application fees was 200. I had received the reservation benefits in college merit admission and fees structure. The college didn't have any offline facility for admission. They should provide. offline admission process should also be introduced.

Teaching methods are very good which helped me score good over all and campus life is best as it provides programs for new innovations and for enjoyment

Admission:

Eligibility if the course was 10th pass and it was on merit list based on your 10th percentile and category . As I scored 86.80 in my 10th it was easy for me to get into merit list in my 1st round only.you can find application form on www.gpmumbai.ac.in. Application form starts after 10th result in June and application fees is around 500-800 . There are reservation benifits. Exam timing are there are 2 semesters in 1st year one is in January and 2nd semester is in April . And difficault level is medium to hard and of course it depends on students if they study hard and smart level can be easy for them. They should improve in admission process as it takes so many days and for the people's who comes from out of city find difficulties statin for this may days with parents for admission.
