Likes

Good faculty teacher. Good laboratories.
All the departments and various different branches are covered

Dislikes

The infrastructure is a bit old fashioned
It's a bit far from the railway station.

I wanted to pursue my education in computer science Engineering that's why I choose the course The curriculum is perfect as per the diploma level which covers mostly all the aspects I think that a bit more focus should be done on the practicals as compared to theory lectures

My college

Likes

The faculty of my college is very helpfull especially prachi madam
We have small park kind of gym where you can exercise if you need
The food from the canteen I very delicious and I enjoy it alo

Dislikes

Some of the teachers very strict ad need to losen up with students
Few of classes are quite dirty and need to be cleaned
College doesn't have a proper turf do sports

The curriculum is fairly simple and the subjects are spread into different levels because I am in the civil course I had building construction in the first year then I had mos-tos etc subject in other years in one semester there are 2 unit exams and 1 semester

I like the fees is very affordable for a diploma college
The teachers teach really well, some are really kind and would help their students alot
The syllabus is not too much it is divided for every semester making it very easy to understand and pass

Dislikes

The exams get resheduled alot which gets jumbled up for me while studying
Some classrooms are dirty and very old and definitely need to be cleaned

I choose civil course this has many different subject practically divided into parts from lower to slowly higher, the practicals of every subjects are really helpfull they actually get you ready for the outside world you can actually get a job right after completing your diploma its seriously good, the improvement could be the teachers should interact with the students more often so they can focus while in practical or theory lecture and they feel more involved

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students are eligible for campus placements Ongc ,tata , reliance and also very known company visitd for placement The highest average packages is upto 3lacs per annum Students getting placement is above 65 percentage My plan is to go for higher education

About my college...

Likes

campus is beautiful. It is located in the western express highway so reaching to college is easy.
Staff is excellent. Every teaching staff is highly qualified
Sports and other activities are also there so college life is fun

Dislikes

Things i disliked is ground. ground is not clean enough

My colleges curriculum is one of the best curriculum out there. They have included best subjects for us. As my college is autonomous the curriculum is designed in house so what our curriculum is decided by the faculty members.

Life at government polytechnic

Likes

I liked the infrastructure and college campus
The teaching staff clerical staff and support staff
The admission process was smooth and hassle free

Dislikes

The college timings were not flexible according to student routine
The college didn’t hosted any programs or cultural events
The college was a bit difficult to reach or travel

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had choosed for diploma in computer engineering. My decision to choose this college was because computer engineering has a scope in the market in 5 years from now. The curriculum had prepared me very well with the real word applications like python, java etc. There were no area to be improved im teaching method or the course curriculum all things were on point. The frequency of exams were in every 2 months.

The faculty is to reputed and good and all are very friendly
Teaching methods are very good which helped me score good over all and campus life is best as it provides programs for new innovations and for enjoyment
We ahes class of physical development which includes how to speak walk and talk which helped me in my personal growth and over all internships are so good as it is government .

Dislikes

They need to work on Infrasturucture as it’s government
Canteen and food is bad as most of all students are from Mumbai itself they bring tiffins but like me who lives in hostel so they need to improve their food in canteen

Placement Experience:

As this is polytechnic college it provided diploma in all branches of engineering. In 3rd year means in last year students have to do internship whole 6 months it can be paid or unpaid depends on students and mostly students have to search for their internship. And placements are around 80% as most of the students do degree in engineering after diploma and take direct 2nd year admission in engineering college .

Best Polytechnic college in Mumbai.

Likes

The infrastructure of college is very good.
All faculty are very supportive and helpful.
Wi-fi is available in maximum all the labs.

Dislikes

Without uniform you can't even enter the campus.
College has hostel but the renovation work not started.
College has good ground but bit danger because of wild animals and snakes.

Students get eligible for placement if he/she has all clear subjects at 3rd-year companies like TCS, Maruti Suzuki, BHEL, etc. In 3rd year 6th sem students need to do a 6-month internship in any IT-based company in the 6th sem there is no subject test only the student needs to do an internship and needs to give an internship certificate and report and there is some viva Also there on industry work. many students find internships on their own, but colleges also provide internships.
