Remarks
Sports day and freshers and farewell are some of the festivals and celebrations that are organised in our campus. An annual fest is also conducted here in which students from the institute participates.
Placement Experience
Sometimes the waiting period of the ships is very long, which makes you to sit idle even after getting placed. But overall the placement process is pretty legit here. Even some of my batchmates got placed on ships in British Petroleum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
One year fee was around 4.7 lacs per annum. It’s a course with a high investment with higher ROI. I took a student loan which I am still paying.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is offered to the needy students only. For that you have to appear and clear an interview.
Campus Life
Really a world-class institute. The facilities are really awesome, SIMS is the best college for marine studies in India because of infra, it's like a paradise. The classroom facilities are pretty good, The entire campus is air conditioned, system class was my favorite one.
Admission
Admission is on the basis of the Maritime University CET. The Samundra Institute also considers overall academic performance of the applicant. Institute conducts the counselling process,
Faculty
All the faculty members are pretty great and helpful. Actually they are a bunch of pretty cool guys, with a required skill set of teaching coupled with some fancy degrees. Many of them have a corporate experience of around 15 years.
