Data structures and algorithms , this topic was very much explained and more inspired to work on my coding skills, web tech and big data concepts were also well explained stil iam following those practises in my current projects as well. exam was 3hours which were more than enough, but for some theory subjects like Operating system, it was not enough.

Course curriculum is very good compared to other colleges usually in demand industry courses are included in the curriculum. One thing that needs to be changed is including some courses which are not helpful or related to our branch in particular sems like biology, chemistry.

The course curriculum at the National institute of engineering mysuru is generally comprehensive and covers the essential technical foundations . Core subjects such as mathematics, physics, and programming are building blocks for all branches.

The curriculum is all application based and are very helpful for the placements. The credit based courses help students to concentrate on the subjects or stream they are interested in. Exams are scheduled with less or no gaps. Two internals and one sem end exam will be conducted every semester.

Course curriculum changes everyyear based on the current industry development. It is mainly theoretical. There is much more emphasis needed on real world applications. Each semester, two internals evry 40days and one external exam and lab exam combines to give the sgpa of the sem.

NIE provides strong foundation to core subjects and offer specialization options in later semesters. The curriculum is comprehensive in terms of theoretical concepts, core subjects, essential skills and technical knowledge. Our college emphasise on core subjects but students may feel that more importance maybe given to industry relevant skill development . rigourous theoretical grounding helps the students prepare and study for even higher studies. Curriculum should be updated to stay in the fast growing technology in the industry. There should be more emphasis on problem solving through internship and industry visit.

Information science mainly focuses on software part of cs.. we have more coding subjects compared to cse.. our college is affiliated to vtu so it follows vtu's curriculum.. syllabus is really good and main subjects like DSA,OS,OOPS,ADA,DBMS etc starts from 2nd year

My course was more into manufacturing sector and to promote make in India I chose this course. Ours was autonomous so the internals and exams were well spaced and it was not too difficult. Better than VTU
