The college provides a supportive learning environment with helpful faculty and good infrastructure
Labs are well-equipped and the campus is clean

Sometimes administrative processes are slow and unresponsive.

Wi - fi is not available for students

Admission:

Admission to NIE Mysuru’s AIML course is based on 10+2 scores and entrance exams like KCET and COMEDK. Students must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. KCET is the most preferred exam. Cutoffs for AIML usually range between 4,000–12,000 ranks (KCET) depending on the category. The admission process is fairly smooth and well-organized, with guidance provided at each step. Document verification and counseling are held online and offline.

Likes

There are most of the aspects which are good in our college like the very good faculty student communication which is important
My engagement is good and interaction with other classmates is good as well
Placement related in our college, or college is very good in placements and also helps in penal and professional development

Dislikes

Above mentioned pros they are cons as well which need to be improved like they don't have many experienced lecturers
The training for the placements in our good is not good compare to some high level colleges
The campus buildings are still under construction and less amount of classes are present to teach

Admission:

I applied to most of the colleges with good ratings but I got not the college I wanted at the end I waited till last round and this college with my dream branch which I wanted I got which has good placement efficient. I cleared common entrance test and the rank was around ten thousand and the cutoff for particular brand in the college was best to it, so I got this college

I like the fact that our faculties are pretty good
Campus is very green and classes are provided with smart boards

So I have got 11 k rank in comedk so I have two colleges in my mind either nitte minakshi of Bangalore or sidganga but our batch is 2022 so in that we have faced corona and rank suddenly increased like colleges are taking more students in second round I got nitte minakshi then I got nie Mysore in third round which was very unexpected

Inside campus life : My honest experience

Likes

The college campus and library and all the facilities good
there is a anti ragging policy signed by all the students which is best when compared to other colleges
The placements are really good and many companies will visit and also college provide enough opportunity for all the sttudents

Dislikes

There is nothing to dislike in the college all are good

After my kea i had a option entry where i have selected multiple other colleges like SJCE, vidyavardhaka other than NIE. But Im fortunate enough to get into NIE, which was my dream college, and also I got the couse which i dreamt of. After the selection the admission process is very smooth and easy, and it took around 2 hrs to complete all the procedures to get the admission

All about NIE, Mysuru - My honest review and experiences

Likes

The overall experience is really good. good campus and good study environment
The girls to boys ratio is around 1: 2 and there equal opportunities for both irrespective of gender and no partiality
The main good thing about the college it doesn't uphold ragging and there is a anti ragging agreement signed by all the students at the time of admission

Dislikes

There is none of the things to dislike about the college

Why NIE,Mysuru is a great choice: My positive experiences

Likes

The campus is really good, The faculties are very friendly and also knowledgeable
The libraries are good and campus very nicely maintained
Give prominence to both studies and extracurricular activities

Dislikes

There is no cons according to me in my college

Admission:

I opted for this college as i got the better course here than the other colleges, I applied for like SJCE and Vidyavardakha college of engineering. And my forst preference at time was NIE only as its a pretigious college on the locality. The admission process will be via KCET or COMEDK exams, even management seats are available but fee will be mroe. Mine is via KCET.

LIFE AT NIE !

Likes

Environment such as Library, classroom , labs
Environment is good for studying all the students will be studying in either park , library, canteen which helps us in study environment
Teachers are very nice to us , are ready to solve any doubts , gives us break during long lectures and good teaching

Dislikes

Fees is a bit higher compared to other colleges
Does not entertain trips or other outside activites
Very strict on attendance which should be above 85

I applied only to NIE because as of its good placements, academic and good teaching.NIE is one of the top colleges is Mysore and all the people I asked they reffered me to join NIE. I had only applied to NIE . I have join the college through management seat , if others want to join the college they can go through management seat , or through cracking other compitation exams such as KCET , JEE , COMEDK if they crack on of these exams they can enter the college by reducing the management fees last year cutoff for NIE was 15000.

seniors are also quite friendly and helpful
technical clubs are very active for students

Dislikes

placements for core are bit tough and even exams are difficult
cultural fests are very less night life is also very restricted
food in hostel mess are not that good but can be eaten

Admission:

i came to college becaause of my cet rank and also thius college is placed 5th in nirf ranking. its placement is also good compared to other colleges. admission process was quite easy but at beginning we could not find where it was happening

placements are about 40 to 50 percent, placements in core is bit difficult
correction for core courses are tough, .

first of all i came to this college due to my rank in cet and also nie stands 5th in nirf ranking so its pretty good college compared to others in main city though this college has less fests compared to others accademically coolege value is pretty high due to vtu affilated.
