To gain admission to the M.Tech program, candidates must achieve a good rank in the GATE exam and participate in the CCMT counseling process, which includes four stages: rounds 1, 2, 3, and a spot round. The college boasts highly qualified faculty who engage students with surprise tests and quizzes and provide personal support beyond academics. The fee structure is affordable at Rs 26,600 per semester. In the first semester, students must also pay an exam and registration fee, while in subsequent semesters, only exam fees are required.
Almost all B.Tech students secure placements upon graduation, but for master's students, typically only those from the foundry forge branch get placed. M.Tech students benefit from a scholarship cum stipend of Rs 12,400 per month from MHRD. They also have the option to secure an interest-free education loan through Canara Bank on campus.
