Asia's one and only college of foundry and forge specialisation

Positive thing is that you will get the superb guidance of the faculties of one of the premiere institute of India. You will get feel of National Institute there, you will have all the things at a single time The bad thing of the campus is that it doesn't have a canteen for even a small thing you have to go out.

As it is known to everyone, in master's program there are 4 semesters and in the first 2 semester one has to through 14 subjects, 7 in each semester. After that one has go opt the project assigned by your guide of you will have to choose by yourself. The while 2nd year will be spent on the project only. The subjects which are being taught in the college is purely related to the industrial purpose which helps to get the job done in your campus placement.

If I talk about the placement of B.tech students then almost all students use to get placed by the time of leaving the college. But things are not same for master's students, only students of foundry forge branch use to get placement. If you are a master's student then you will be getting Rs 12400 per month from MHRD as a stipend to support your study.

There is an annual festival of the college named, JINKS- (Jo Insan Nhi Kr Skta). The whole fest is celebrated in a duration of 4 days which includes DJ night, Kavi sandhya, EDM night, fashion show, and many more events and ends with the celebrity night. You will have full freedom during those 4 days and the campus will be well decorated, it will feel like we are going to celebrate diwali every night.

The fee structure is quite affordable. The fee for each semester was Rs26600. Apart from the semester fee, one will have to submit exam and registration fee in the first semester and from 2nd semester onwards one will have to pay exam fees at the time of exam.

As I got admission in the college through GATE so I got a scholarship cum stipend in the form of rs 12400 per month. Each and every student of m.tech will get this stipend. If you are interested in submitting your fees in loan then campus is having Canara bank from where you can avail the facility of education loan without any interest.

There are many clubs in the college like of Automobile club, Dance club, foundry club, forge club, apart from the clubs there is a NGO which is run by the students of the college named KARTVYA. Campus do have a big ground which comprises of football and cricket ground collectively. Hostels do have their own badminton court. Labs are well equipped with all the necessary instruments and equipments. Although the machines are old but they are in working condition.

I was a hostelier, and I must say the hostel in which I was residing, was the best hostel of the campus. There are 4 boys hostel and one girls hostel in the campus. For 1st year students the hostel is separate.

If I talk about my seniors then they were really helpful in each and every thing. From selecting guides to helping in projects to getting the company details for campus placements in each and every aspect seniors were helpful. Although the alumni base was not so strong but we worked hard in the last 2 years and have made it slightly better.

For the admission in m.tech one has to appear in GATE exam and will have to secure good rank. After the result is declared one has go go through the CCMT councelling though which the college will be allowed. There are 4 stages of counselling 1,2,3 and spot round. I got my seat in the 2nd round of councelling in 2017-19 batch.

Almost all the faculty are well qualified and having in-depth knowledge of their subjects. They use to conduct time to time surprise test and quizzes which keeps the students awake in the campus. Apart from academia they use to help in student's personal problem too.
