NIAMT course curriculum is same as that of other premier institutes. But NIAMT provides real world application in its interships at jamsedpur and bokaro steel plant. There is 2 exam every Semester ( 1 Mid-Sem and 1 End-sem ).

Inernship opportunities at NIAMT are good students go for their internship at different campanies from where they gather real world experience and skills there many projects done by students in feild of machines and metallurgy.

Heighest package is 15 LPA Average pakage is 7.4 LPA there is 100% palcement at NIAMT

fees - Rs. 1,75,000 / year tution fee - Rs. 50,000 / year fees for all category are same here are national sholarship program(NSP) and state scholaships( e kalyan and bihar scholarship) and other private scholarships

Annual festival is called " JINKS " and the technical festival is called " PRANAV " in the months feb/march. there is wide range of technical/Academic books available in NIAMT library. NIAMT has very good infrastures (LHC, LABS, WORKSHOP, etc.) classroom are well equipped with projectors and speakers. sports facility are less as compared nits but has cricket, football, vollyball, badminton clubs there is a student run social NGO group called " KARTAVYA " clubs - dance, singing, drama, photographic, chess, mediacell etc.

There are separate hostels for (1st,2nd,3rd,final,) year Hostel facility are excellent 1st year have double sharing room and from 2nd year there is single room alloted. Girls hostel have triple sharing rooms Rooms have well maintained bed, study table, chair, tubelights, fan, cupboards Every hostel has its own mess and mess food is of GOOD quality and tasty . Regestration process is very simple and hostel fee is Rs. 28,000 / year

I applied for NIT JSR , NIT Patna, BIT Mesra, IIIT Ranchi, some GFTIs and Obviously NIAMT Ranchi in JOSAA. I prefered NIAMT over other GFTIs becuase of its palcements, also i was unable to find any major negative point about this college. Admission to NIAMT is from JOSAA and CSAB based on your All India Rank in JEE Mains as of 2024 closing rank in JOSAA last round for CSE is 50,906 and for CSAB last round is 91,147 Overall Admission process of NIAMT is very smooth, it takes hardly 2 hours.

NIAMT facuty members are well educated from top colleges like iits, nits and other premier institutes. also they are very helpful, students can go to their cabin in faculty building and solve thier doubts . there is 1 Mid-Sem and End-Sem, the difficulty of paper is moderate.

NIAMT Gym has well equipped gym machines , there is a cafeteria , library, palyground where students can hangout Hostel gate closes at 12 am some famous place are "chai cafeteria " cafe and some food stalls outside the campus cons: no garden/park inspite of lots of greenery.
