Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is slightly outdated due but still it isnrelevant due to research oriented branch. The areas they can improve is by adding practical subjects more than theoretical one. Exams are conducted twice every semester with easy to moderately moderate difficulty level.

Fees and Financial Aid

The years tution fees is 40,000 and mess fees is 36,000. Along with this certain miscellaneous charges are also applied which sums upto 24,500 which includes library charge, gymkhana fees, wifi charges and many more. Fees is not category bound and is same for all the batchmates, but they get certain scholarships based on their origin of state of caste.

Campus Life

4

Campus is small so rizzed campus life with restricted hostel timings. One big fest named JINKS PRANAV is conducted every year but is not happening from past 2 years due to internal reasons. Books are of old editions in library. Proactive sports club is running in campus like for football, cricket, volleyball etc.

Admission

Due to good placement in core sector and tag of central government i preffered this college over many other private colleges. I only get rejection is colleges through JOSCAA councelling which was above ranked than my college with high cutoff. Admission process is simple, just reach the campus with Admission or seat allotment letter with all require documents and they will hand over you confirmation along with hostel allotmeoj the same day.

Faculty

3

Faculty members are weill qualified with doctorate degree from top universities. Students to Faculty ratio is good due to low student intake. Our HOD ghanshyam Das is quite good and helpful if compared to other proffesors. Can't name the proffesors is dont like directly but currently he is HOD of mechanical engineering department. Exams are easy as whatever taught in class is mostly asked in exams.

Interview Experience

3

Not yet as im in 3rd year but still i will face next year during placement. Thet provide placement preparation programme for this. GD/PI is not conducted during admission as the process in mostly online through JOSCAA Councelling.

Night Life

4

Cloding time of gym, cafeteria etc is 9 P.M. hostel timing for girls is strict 9'O clock but for boys it is 10. College campus is too smaal to be hanged out inside but still one can roam inside campus at night safely.

Placement Experience:

Almost everyone gets placed for certain branches and more than half of the students are placed for other branches too. There are plenty of placement opportunities provided by the placement cell, which is run by professors, students, and the alumni network.

Remarks:

Reason why I preffered this college was that I had applied for a few colleges out of which I got selected in this. To take admission in this college we were supposed to have scored 75% marks ( 65% for SC/ST students) in 12th grade. They admit students to the course on the basis of JEE Advanced scores followed by JoSAA Counselling. Admission for the course generally starts from July. The admission process is simple. I preffered the online mode where I filled my application in the official website of the institute and attached the required documents. Then I paid the application fee and submitted the form.

Outstanding faculties having a good depth of knowledge.. Well interactive. Ideas and Knowledge is easily projected by them. They follow a stringent standards while conducting experiment, viva-voice in labs. Their teaching style and attitude is good and generally the language of interaction between student and faculty is English. So in a nutshell the faculty is up to the mark and satisfactory.
