INSIDE STORY OF NIAMT

WHEN I WAS APPLYING FOR COLLEGES , I HAD CHOOSEN NIAMT RANCHI,BIT MESRA , NIT PATNA, AND PW IOI . MY MAIN GOAL WAS TO GET INTO A GOOD GOVERNMENT COLLEGE OF NATIONAL IMPORTANCE WHERE I COULD GET GOOD EDUCATION AT AN AFFORDABLE COST. I GOT OFFERS FROM OTHER PRIVATE INSTITUTE ALSO ,BUT THERE FEES WAS EXTREMELY HIGH , SO I DECIDED NOT TO TAKE ADMISSION THERE . I DIDN'T WANT TO PUT THE BIG FINANCIAL PRESSURE ON MY FAMILY. I CHOOSE NIAMT RANCHI BECAUSE IT IS A GOVERNMENT COLLEGE WITH A GOOD NAME AND REPUTATION . THE CAMPUS WAS PEACEFUL, THE TEACHERS ARE EXPERIENCED , AND THE STUDENTS GET TO LEARN BOTH THEORY AND PRACTICAL THINGS. I ALSO LIKED THAT THE COLLEGE FOCUSES ON SKILLS AND TECHNICAL TRAINING , WHICH WILL HELP ME IN MY CAREER LATER. I COULD NOT GET INTO SOME HIGHER NITs BECAUSE OF THE CUTOFFS, BUT I WAS HAPPY TO GET NIAMT. IT FELT LIKE THE RIGHT PALCE FOR ME BECAUSE IT GIVES BOTH QUALITY EDUCATION AND REASONABLE FEE. THE ADMISSION PROCESS WAS THROUGH JEE MAINS AND JOSAA/CSAB COUNSELLING . EVERYTHING WAS DONE ONLINE FROM CHOOSING COLLEGE TO DOCUMENT VERIFICATION . WHEN I GOT THE CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM NIAMT, I FELT REALLLY GOOD AND LITTLE PROUD . IT WAS A GREAT MOMENT FOR ME BECAUSE I HAD FINALLY GOT ADMISSION IN A NATIONAL LEVEL GOVERNMENT COLLEGE WHERE I CAN BUILD A FUTURE....Read More

Due to good placement in core sector and tag of central government i preffered this college over many other private colleges. I only get rejection is colleges through JOSCAA councelling which was above ranked than my college with high cutoff. Admission process is simple, just reach the campus with Admission or seat allotment letter with all require documents and they will hand over you confirmation along with hostel allotmeoj the same day....Read More

I applied for DTU, Jadhavpur University and MS Ramaiah institute of technology but in above 2 college I didn't get admission due to low rank while fees of MS college was too high and unaffordable. Admission process was quite simple, they first checked the allotment letter from Councelling then after that they verified the documents and confirmed the admission along with hostel allotment....Read More

I didn't have any choice because my rankis not good . I got these college only in my rank and any other reason is it is national institute and one of the asiast famous college. Admission in college through josaa counselling and you have to clear the jee mains....Read More

I applied for NIT JSR , NIT Patna, BIT Mesra, IIIT Ranchi, some GFTIs and Obviously NIAMT Ranchi in JOSAA. I prefered NIAMT over other GFTIs becuase of its palcements, also i was unable to find any major negative point about this college. Admission to NIAMT is from JOSAA and CSAB based on your All India Rank in JEE Mains as of 2024 closing rank in JOSAA last round for CSE is 50,906 and for CSAB last round is 91,147 Overall Admission process of NIAMT is very smooth, it takes hardly 2 hours....Read More
