My College Experience

The curriculum is designed based on the new name of the institute. Every course is designed with a touch of manufacturing area. The students gain hands-on- experience in the Asia's largest workshop i.e., our NIAMT workshop. The course prepare us how to use our knowledge in industry which course we belong. The exams are quite frequent . The exams are not so difficult unless until you pay attention in the class and remember your faculties explanation.

There is no internships provided by the college. We need to search for our own and do summer internship every year. The summer internship in our college served as a part of compulsory subject in our college. The students need to do internship from the 1st year itself. We may approach faculties for the internship, they can use their connection for providing us the internships.

From 5th semester examination the students become eligible for the campus placement. The top core industry visited the college. The highest package till now was of 14LPA. The average package is of 7-8 LPA The placement of our college is 100%. All students who sits in the interview round gets placed. I am currently planning for GATE examination after getting the degree of sit for the campus placement and get a job for atleast 2-3 year then think about the higher studies.

The year wise fees of NIAMT is 143500 Rupees Tution Fees: 25000 Other fee as computer fees, internet fees, library fee, examination fee: 5000 Student activity fee: 5000 Medical fee : 2000 Examination fee: 2000 This fee structure is applicable for all caste for all class of family. There is no such benefit for SC or ST or those belonging to lower income family . . There are scholarships for merit cum students at the end of the academic year.

The college main fest is conducted in month of Jan- March - JINKS PRANAV And the technical festival may include Internal Hackathon- conducted along with SIH - Smart India Hackathon at the month of August - October The Library provides the issue of the book we want for approx 15 days and then again issuing the book. We can go there are ready the books as per we require. The classroom is big enough and there is projector for smart class technology. Sadbhawna is the sports event that takes place every year in month of December. And other sports activities is celebrated in National sports day. Their are also clubs for football, volleyball, cricket. And other activities go along the ministry of education week celebration event on occasion of anti -ragging week and so on. Their are many clubs in our college for dance, singing, technology, automobiles, sports etc. Their is an running NGO in our college which impacts the students life very deeply. It helps students increase soft skills.

The hostel room contains a bed, a table, a chair, a cupboard, one night lamp, 1 fan, 1 light for each single student. The meal quality is much better than most of the other colleges. The hostel are provided according to the warden of the hostel. 2 girls in a single room of all year. And single room for boys of 2nd ,3rd and 4th year. 2 boys per room for 1st year boys. The location of the PG or rented room must be within the radius of 5 Km from the college.

This college admission process is done by JEE Main percentile or rank. There were several other college that I wanted to opt but due to less percentile, I couldn't make it. This was the the college I got the confirmation admission letter. This college stands out as this college is one of the oldest college in the ASIA which trains student Foundry and Forging skills. This college placement overpassed most of the NITs. Being the core branch college, it is one of the best college in India with the best core course . The cutoff rank of this college is upto approximately 2Lakh . The exam for the admission into this college is JEE Main.

There are approx 50-60 faculty in our college. The faculties are quite helpful. We can approach them anytime between 9-5 unless and until they don't have any other class going on. Overall, all faculties help us whenever we need and do their best to help us. There are currently 2 mid sem per semester, but soon going to be 1 mid sem per semester. In 2 mid sem the best marks is to taken for 20 marks out of 100. 10 marks is for assignment, attendance, projects. And 70 marks for the end semester. In practical exams 50 marks is total and the marks distribution is according to teachers convience.
