- Even with such a large crowd students are into their own and societies with nearly 1000 students exists in our college.

- Our academic load is even higher than that of closed rank colleges or for that matter even NITs.
Course Curriculum Overview
For girls bioengineering and biotechnology is one stream where we see girls more than boys. This was the biggest reason for me to choose this engineering as mechanical, chemical and all had 80% or more boys strength. Also, my intrest was in this and our course is incredible too.
Placement Experience
At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
BIT Mesra is Jharkhand's biggest private entity and over 900 students of engineering in my branch alone. The college fees is a bit high as 4.5 lakhs a year and still I feel it ain't that much as facilities and teaching are top notch.
Campus Life
BIT FEST is a fest in Jharkhand which nobody else can even match. Campus is in hundreds and hundreds of acres as it's a city within a city. So many students as intake is heavy and all can comfortably fit in as facilities are so heavy. So many auditoriums, so many playgrounds and so many clubs and activities to dealt with.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are plethora and one can have as the kind of room they want. In first year you don't have a choice as a minimum of three seater room is what you will be offered. However, from second year onwards, we can have a single seater room as well. Mess too are plenty and we can chose as per our convenience.
Admission
GPAT score is what taken into account and in 12th 60% or more is mandatory. Also JEE scores are considered but again baby IITs level of score is required and therefore students mostly come through GPAT here.
Faculty
Ruhis Sir is my favourite as he has been there in all circumstances. Sir I have missed the classes as I was not well, he will call me to the staffroom and teach me there. If 10 students s demand an extra class, we get that too. So, faculties are very heart warming and their classes are eye catching and poetry to my ears.
Night Life
There are some waterfalls close to our campus such as Johna Falls, Dassam Falls and Pahari Mandir again a beautiful place to go. Gym and cafes are better that we have in the campus than in surroundings as first we have to travel atleast 4-5 kms and then time to go and come back.
