Course Curriculum Overview

I m mostly interested in mechanical field so I choose mechanical engineering and love towards machine and want to learn more things about machine from this college and the faculty are very good of mechanical engineering

Fees and Financial Aid

67500 yearly fees Ekalyan scholarship for OBC ST SC Fees of free seat is less than the payment seat and hostel fees is 15000 per year and fooding cost other charges Scholarship helps the middle class students

Campus Life

College organise 2 major events every year and students enjoys those event every year and name of the events are Zephyr and Navkriti that is tech fast and there are three amazing night programs where big stars are coming to make us entertain

Admission

Because this college is nearby to me and this college have a good study environment and the faculty are friendly and supportive in nature and this college have a good scholarship benefits this is the reason I chose Chaibasa Engineering College

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is good and relationship between the student is nice some of the teacher is not that much good exam are bit difficult and teacher give good environment before the exams and teach proper syllabus

Night Life

College doesn't have a gym but our college has cafeteria library and hostel timing is till 8pm and then we doesn't allowed to go out of the campus and we are allowed to go cafeteria till 10 pm and then we return back to hostel

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

Great college if the money is not a problem for you!!

Placement Experience:

Placements are good for core branches here at Bit mesra, as compared to other colleges, about 90% students got placed as per I know from seniors, the highest core package is around 20 LPA, main top recruiting companies for core chemical are reliance, jindal and many more!

Since I am a diploma holder in civil engineering, I had to choose the same branch in B.Tech also. But actually I chose this college because my diploma friends were taking admission in the same college. The college needs some improvements, but the surrounding areas need more improvement.

Placement Experience:

Placements start 6th semester. Companies TCS, Wipro, Deloitte and local companies. Average package is 4 to 5 LPA. I plan to work as a full stack web developer or i will also apply off campus for better softer roles.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Life in NSU

Placement Experience:

Students can get placement from there 5th semester and if they perform well in the company they get internship they will get placement in there only. Many companies visits but some famous companies are Reliance, Byju's, Ujjivan,Justdial, Tcs and mamy more. Planetspark is the company which gave highest package of 8lac rs to a student. Student without backlog gets placement easily. I am planning to do a job and save some mony and do my pg so that i could get better opportunities in jobs.

My College Experience

I chose Chaibasa Engineering College because it is affiliated with JUT and the infrastructure is also good but one thing is that the college is on a hill due to which students have to face a lot of difficulties but there is no problem in this, besides the college provide chhatravritti to their students and my sister has also completed her graduation from this college.
