Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

There is semester wise fees of 107500 for general candidates. Scholarship for obc/sc/st students Tution fees - 62500/semester Other fees - 12000/semester Mess and hostel fees - 33000/semester For obc student 2/3 fee waiver of tution fees and for sc/st students no tution fees
Campus Life
The names of annual and technical festivals along with the months they are typically held are :- CDS fest organised by team rooh Urja sports meet organised by sports team of college Ojas cultfest organised by all cultural teams of college Ojas tech fest overall India organised by all technical clubs of college. There is intensive sports and extra curricular activities in campus
Admission
I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . You have to score at least 75% in class 12th board to get admission .
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is very nice in my department of Mechanical engineering around 40 faculty is there @ 120 students. Some faculties are really supportive and and promote you to explore new things. Some faculties are really strict and focus on the subject curriculum. Within 20 to 30 days of course there is always exams and quizzes. There is one mid semester exam and one and semester exam the level of difficulty of examination is moderate to difficult no exam is going to be easy. Faculties always surprise with new questions.
Night Life
There is gym within the campus which is open till 9 pm . central library which is open for all student till night 9:00 p.m. and also there is computer centre where you can access internet and study open till 8:00 p.m. Boys hostel get close till 10:30 p.m. Inside campus area there is Nescafe and cafeteria area where you can hang out other places outside the campus are Jubilee Park and tata zoo .
