How is NIAMT Ranchi, with regard to research and development?

Apart from the well furnished technical labs and equipment , NIFFT has in store a very well learned & experienced faculty set which can guide you in any technical direction. Being a compact college it offers you ample opportunities to come up with ideas, research work and thesis documents. You can ignite an idea, get it approved by the institution and work on the project without any bar. The institute provides you with full economic support providing you with ample funds needed for the project. Examples include a 3-d printer developed by students within the campus premises. Another striking achievement is the presence of a Society of Automotive Engineers known as NIFFT RACING. This club was established regardless of the absence of a mechanical department in the college. This club has never failed to bring laurels and perform exceedingly well in national, as well as international competitions.

Which college has better faculty: NIAMT Ranchi or BIT Sindri?

According to student reviews, faculties at NIAMT Ranchi are centrally recruited and are knowledgeable. Few of them have international PHDs, thus being with them will give one a better exposure. Regular classes will compel students to study hard. The faculty is quite approachable. On the other hand, BIT Sindris major challenge is the lack of quality faculty. In core branches, you can find a few good teachers but the condition is pathetic for circuit branches.

My College Experience

The year wise fees of NIAMT is 143500 Rupees Tution Fees: 25000 Other fee as computer fees, internet fees, library fee, examination fee: 5000 Student activity fee: 5000 Medical fee : 2000 Examination fee: 2000 This fee structure is applicable for all caste for all class of family. There is no such benefit for SC or ST or those belonging to lower income family . . There are scholarships for merit cum students at the end of the academic year.

Specialized education: NIAMT offers specialized programs in foundry and forge technology, providing students with in-depth knowledge and skills that are directly applicable to the industry.

Fee Structure: The institute fee for B.Tech. courses is around 78k to 80k per year which include tuition fee, examination fee, medical charges, and others. Hostel and mess charges for each year is around 65500 which is quite decent. There is no any fee wavier system like IITs and NITs but ROI is very good. Scholorships and financial assistance: For home state students there is home state scholorships which gives upto 85k per year while for other students national scholorship program are beneficial. Som private scholorships are also in our college like buddy4study scholorships and other. Apart from this, the college has a campus bank of Canara Bank which gives educational loans to students very easily.
