" UNDERATED COLLEGE " NIAMT

Likes

Peaceful Vibe, Greenery and Good decorum of the campus
Placements and Interships are Excellent 100% Specially in core branches

Dislikes

Lacks Sports Complex, garden, canteen(exist but not working)
although NIAMT has good auditorium but small (200 seats only ) and students are 800+

Placement Experience:

students are eligible for campus placements from 7th semester As of 2024 Placement stats recruting companies are JSW Group, Mahindra, Tata steel ltd, vedanta resources, reliance , tata consulting engineer ltd, tata autocamp, Jindal saw ltd and many more... Heighest package is 15 LPA Average pakage is 7.4 LPA there is 100% palcement at NIAMT

Likes

Campus is very beautiful. It is full of greenery.
Seniors are very helpful. They will help in notes making and a lot of things.

Dislikes

Campus is not so big. It is just 65 acres in area.
There is no coding culture in this college.

Placement Experience:

This year's placement was almost 95%, which is quite good. The top recruiters are JSW, Vedanta, Tata Motors and many more. Most students are places in JSW with a 9.6 LPA. The highest package this year was something around 14 LPA. And average was almost 9.6 LPA.

Campus is so beautiful. It is completely filled with greenery.
Seniors are very much supportive. They will help juniors in every situation.

Dislikes

Campus is very small. Is has only an area of 65 acres.
There is no coding culture in this college.

Placement Experience:

Placements of this college is so good. As I have from my seniors and professors average package of this college is 9.2 LPA and percentage of placement this year was almost 95% in my branch. Top recruiter of this college are TATA STEEL, JSW, VEDANTA, L&T.

The College campus is so beautiful. It is full of greenery. Completely lush green campus.
This College is completely a core branch college. So Metallurgy branch of this College is best one.

Dislikes

The campus of this College is so small. It has only 65 acres of area.

Likes

The best thing I like about my college is it's natural beauty. It is surrounded by nature all around
The faculties of our college are quite helpful

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not so good it's old type

Placement Experience:

There is 100% placement in our college. It's college placement bits most of the Top NITs in India. This college is one of the GFTI i.e., government funded institute. My plans after getting degree is to do job and take the on campus placement.

My College Experience

Likes

I liked the environment of the college. The greenary all around and the eco-friendly environment is far better than any other metropolitan cities air.
The placement of the college is 100% , which is good for any other B.Tech student in any college.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college is not so good compared to other collges.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester examination the students become eligible for the campus placement. The top core industry visited the college. The highest package till now was of 14LPA. The average package is of 7-8 LPA The placement of our college is 100%. All students who sits in the interview round gets placed. I am currently planning for GATE examination after getting the degree of sit for the campus placement and get a job for atleast 2-3 year then think about the higher studies.

NIAMT RANCHI Overview

Likes

The hostel rooms are quite spacious, hostel rooms are well maintained
wifi of our campus is faster than any other institutes.

Dislikes

The academics staff are sometimes acts wierdly.

Placement Experience:

students in their last year are eligible to seat in campus placement i.e. 4th year . There are various companies that visit our institutes and all these are premier companies like JSW, Sona comstar, Maruti Suzuki etc. almost every student gets placement and average placement is about 8 lpa.

Likes

Specialized education: NIAMT offers specialized programs in foundry and forge technology, providing students with in-depth knowledge and skills that are directly applicable to the industry.
Strong industry connections: The institute has strong ties with various industries, which often translates into excellent placement opportunities foe student.

Dislikes

Small campus: Unlike many other IITs and NITs, NIAMT has a small campus area of only 65 acres which is comparatively small.
Poor mess and food menu: Unlike other institutes, the quality of mess and food is poor. Everyday there has been uproar for this poor quality of mess menu.

Placement Experience:

In terms of placement our college has a record of almost 100% campus placement.Due to its emphasis on core branches such as metallurgy and manufacturing, most placements are secured by students in core companies. In 2023, the average package was 7 LPA which increases in 2024 to 9 LPA, while the highest package was CTC of 14.95 LPA. Many students are offered a CTC of 13.95 LPA. Notable recruiting companies are Tata Steel, Tata Metalliks, HEC, JSW, NML, Vedanta and others. Some students opt for higher studies such as MBA, M.Tech etc.

Likes

The most interesting thing about my college is its placement which is quite good and i liked it the most
Campus is very beautiful but small and have a good greenry around

Dislikes

The thing i disliked most is the sport club which is there but not much active
Maintenance work in library is slow but is improving day by day

Placement Experience:

After 6 semester student are eligible bor campus placement. Last year companies like jsw and vedanta were mass recruiter and they recruited around 50 students together offering highest placement of14 lpa and average around 7.5lpa . Around 100 percent of student of final year student got placed

Placement Experience:

Overall the placement of the College is good for the branch of MME AND ME . And the two other branch are add in the previous year (2022). Almost 95% Students are placed and remaining are go for the higher studies
