I STAY IN THE HOMI J BHABHA HOSTEL PROVIDED BY NIAMT. THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED. EACH ROOM HAS TWO BED , CHAIR,TABLE AND CUPBOARD. THE HOSTEL PROVIDES A CALM AND FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT FOR STUDYING AND STAYING WITH FRIENDS.. THE BATHROOMS AND WASHROOOMS ARE CLEANED EVERYDAY AFTER STUDENT DEPARTS TO COLLEGE . THE FOOD QUALITY IN MESS IS AVERAGE BUT HYGIENIC . THE MENU INCLUDES RICE , PULSE EVERYDAY BUT THE VEGETABLES VARIES DAY TO DAY AND ALSO THEY GIVE SOME SWEETS IN THE EVENING BUT THEY GIVE ONLY CUSTARD IN LUNCH. THE MEALS HAS BOTH VEG AND NONVEG OPTIONS AVAILABLE. THE REGISTRATION PROCCES FOR THE HOSTEL WAS QUITE SIMPLE. IT JUST REQUIRED FILLING OF FORM , SUBMITTING DOCUMENTS,AND PAYING THE ADVANCE HOSTEL FEES AND HOSTEL FEES. THE HOSTEL FEE IS AFFORDABLE COMPARED TO NEAR BY PGs . OVERALL , THE HOSTEL IS SAFE AND COMFORTABLE FOR STUDENTS. IT IS LOCATED INSIDE THE CAMPUS , SO EVERYTHING LIKE CLASSES AND PLAYGROUNDS ARE EASILY ACCESSIBLE. LIVING HERE GIVES A GOOD STUDENT EXPERIENCE AND HELPS IN MAKING NEW FRIENDS.

In first year we were provided with double seater rooms while from 2nd year onwards we were living in single rooms which is quite large for 1 person to accomodate. Mess quality I would say is poor as they barely cook good eatable food so one have to eat outside on regular basis. Hostel allotment goes freehand during admission process and very easily.

There are separate hostels for (1st,2nd,3rd,final,) year Hostel facility are excellent 1st year have double sharing room and from 2nd year there is single room alloted. Girls hostel have triple sharing rooms Rooms have well maintained bed, study table, chair, tubelights, fan, cupboards Every hostel has its own mess and mess food is of GOOD quality and tasty . Regestration process is very simple and hostel fee is Rs. 28,000 / year

There is single room for boys of 2nd year, 3rd year nd final year. And for 1st year 2nd person in a room. Whereas in the other hand for girls for all years there is 2 person in each room. The hostel has a common room facilities. It has television. The hostel has a small area or field to play and move around.

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel room contains a bed, a table, a chair, a cupboard, one night lamp, 1 fan, 1 light for each single student. The meal quality is much better than most of the other colleges. The hostel are provided according to the warden of the hostel. 2 girls in a single room of all year. And single room for boys of 2nd ,3rd and 4th year. 2 boys per room for 1st year boys. The location of the PG or rented room must be within the radius of 5 Km from the college.

Hostel fascilities are very nice here, you'll get 24/7 electricity and water supply. one thing of our hostel that is not good is our mess, the food quality is not good as expected, the caretakers are good, you'll get permission to move in or out easily.
