Likes

Some of the professors are very passionate about their subject.
The sports culture is one of the best in kj somaiya.
There are various companies on campus and off campus that offer good placement to the students.

Dislikes

ROI is very low as college fees are high.
Canteen food is also not upto to the mark. There are no varities on the menu.
Despite being autonomous college they don't have updated syllabus. They follow Mumbai University.

Placement Experience:

There is a training and placement cell for the placements in the college which help students to prepare for the placements. The average placement is around 3.5-4 lakhs with the chance of improvement as the college has now become autonomous and the students here can get a chance on the Vidyavihar campus.

From 5th semester students become eligible for placements. Many big companies have visited for the on campus selection to the college that are;- Jio, Reliance, TCS, Zebronics, HP, Infosys, AWS, Tech Mahindra With minimum packages of 7 lakhs for tech branches and 4 lakhs for extc branch. The percentage of students who gets placed are more than 90 epercent for both tech and non tech branches.

Great college for future IT students

Usually from the 7th semester (4th year) , the job offers of companies start rolling in for students. An n-number of companies visit our college and provide a fair package to the students depending on their skill and certain criteria that make them eligible to sit for those company interviews such as a well-maintained CGPA . Usually, the IT departments have a success rate of 98% in placement criteria.

Quality of Teaching is great with Teacher Paying Attention to all round development of Student

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course which I chose after 10th was Information Technology because I had much interest in Computer Software. Student Ration in my college is 70. Faculty are well educated and polite and too much and solve problems of Students. Some Faculty have Ph.D. and Some are Experience of more than 9-10 year and has completed their Masters. Exams are based on Modules and the question are more technical.
