Overall, it was great . The four years proved to be a good learning experience. Managing studies and extra curriculars was something that I learnt quite well.
Overall IEM is a good college. They teach us course subject as well as extra activities. Great environment for overall growth. They encourage us for further Studies in foreign and IITs. Strict discipline than any other college in West Bengal.
It was a wonderful decision to introduce aptitude classes for the students from 3rd year.
For me I had a mixed experience in the college. At the beginning I had I tight time to adjust to the strict rules and regulations of the college but now I am suited to it.
Overall placement scenario is good. Many companies come here for placement. Around 60-70 percent student got placed. TCS is the king, it takes a lot, accept that many companies like Cognizant, Infosys etc come. You can find on the IEM site. Some company also come for the mechanical and the electrical department.
