Likes

Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college

Dislikes

The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

Likes

College campus has the biggest college campus
College faculty are very supportive and provides their best guidance
Professor are highly educated and qualified

Dislikes

This college has very less placement this year due to recession
College is in rural area so you won't find much place to travel around
Hostels food is worst. If you are a vegetarian you can't find a proper veg food here

Placement Experience:

College offers a good placement in IT as well as core branch student. There is vey good placement of chemical department student sometime better than IT students. This year placement scenario is not as good as they used to be due to recession. But you can go for off campus placement.

Likes

Haldia institute of technology, Having one of the biggest campuses among the private colleges in west bengal.
College offer a decent placement in very low fees and having good facilities.
Placements is good for branches like CSE, IT, AIML, DS and some vore branches like chemical and food technology.

Dislikes

College is located in haldia which is so far from kolkata.
Placement in core branches like mechanical, civil, electrical have to faces issue in placements.
Some professors are not working for the students as they do not focus on the syllabus but most of the professors are gems for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college provides good curriculum, the syllabus includes new technologies and subjects which is latest in industries and ongoing market. Subjects like Arti?cial Intelligence, machine learning, computer networks are included in our syllabus in tech branches.

Likes

During the time of recession college gave good placement and internship
Campus of haldia is very large it gave alot of explorer
Environmental of college are very nature friendly

Dislikes

Nothing like that this is one of the best college
Due to end regions of west bengal heat waves comes
There are not too many place for visiting

Placement Experience:

Here campus placement offered , During the time of recession we get the highest package of 34 lakh and many more And more than 80% student got placed with average package of 5-6 lakh And many companies visit the college for placement and internship

A real talk about Haldia Institute of Technology

Likes

First of all i like the fee structure because it so cheap to afford it costs only 4.38 lakh to complete btech in this college
The environment is so pure, the largest campus ever in all over West Bengal .
The placement is so good, overall rate of students who got placed is more than 87%

Dislikes

The temperature is so hot here because the bay of bengal is nearly 10km from the college
Frankly speaking this year the placement is so poor the percentage of placed is only 60% it’s insecure us

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love maths so i have to do Data science In Cse-Data Science course we have to study about data but also we study about maths Because of maths i choose this course In our college there are more than 20 course In every field they have a particular course The timing of college is 9.40am to 5.10pm It varies always from the routine Such as in data science I have full 3 days classes in a week But some other departments have 4 full days in a week

Wanna go HIT

Likes

No Attendance issues gives you full time to study by yourself.
Fest and activities gives lot of funand make college lively.
Campus Life as you can chill anytime with your friends

Dislikes

Hostel Hygiene due to the washroom cleaning issues
Poor Management sometimes in case of notice and exam schedules
Mess food, sometimes made me cry and missed my home

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. Mostly Accenture, TCS, PWC , Cognizant,HCL,Techmahindra,Ibm , Capegemini and many other MNCs and startup companies etc. visits here. In recession period there is less palcement otherwise approx 80 percent students get placed. I have been placed so I am currently gonna join the opportunity.

Friendly behaviour of senior and helping nature.
Faculties are more cooperative for every stage of journey
Campus is beautiful and it is in 49 acres .

Dislikes

All things is good .. according to me it is best for us.
Basketball ball court should be maintained or repair
According to me all things is well mannered

The specific aspects is to take admission in this course becouse I have interest in machine learning and ethical hacking and also I have chosen computer science engineering so that I can Excel my skills.

Many clubs and societies to join to grow skills
Infrastructure is very good with fully Greenery campus
Faculties are always there to help you at any condition

Dislikes

The college is located in a polluted area so polution is very high
Transport system could be better from hostel to college
Area of this college might be better than others

Placement Experience:

Placement is the most important part of this college. Students from every department get a very high level package from this college. Companies like Amazon , Flipkart, Cognizant , Capgemini, TCS , Tech Mahindra, Tata and many more core and non core companies visit to pick students. Highest package is 45 LPA offered by Amazon .

Likes

Campus size, hostel Life, Many new things I explore.
I meet new friends. Weather of haldia, We have not kt attend class daily
We have to only attend 4 day in h week..

Dislikes

Mess food is not very good. Mosquito....
Mosquito.. Seniors are not well behave with junior

Placement is very nice. 80% students gets placed in clg . Average placement is 5 lpa and median package is 4.5lpa. Highest packages of 2023 is 27lpa. This year highest packages is 38 lpa. 100 companies visit here

Very big campus that is the grip resort opportunity for the student and it has provided campus placement and also give more opportunity to the students who want to play sports

Dislikes

Janak son of the college is not much good as it is very far from the main city that is Kolkata

I have this course because I want to work in IT company Manufacturnalties are there and it's more than 10 faculties per batch Most of the faculty have PhD degree and they teach us very well Term exam have held on regular 5 month And difficulty level was moderate

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC

Courses:

The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.

Placements:

As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.

Fest:

The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
