College Review

Courses taught here are not so updated but there are several workshop conducted by seniors of various clubs and societies of this college so if you are doing that workshop it will surely benefit you. There is no mid term exam instead it has three CA (basically class test) along with 4-5assignments in each subject. So you will have only one sem.

You won't get internship opportunities till 7th sem after 7th sem you are allowed for the internship. You can do rural internship if you are staying outside the campus from 2nd yr. Also you can do online internship.

College offers a good placement in IT as well as core branch student. There is vey good placement of chemical department student sometime better than IT students. This year placement scenario is not as good as they used to be due to recession. But you can go for off campus placement.

Fees were quiet good till last year but this year they have increased the fees along with that in each sem you have to pay exam fee with is ?2,000. This college has one of the biggest fest in West Bengal you can earn by participating in it.

College is quiet good. Campus is nice but you can't find any other place to other than 2-3 place to travel. Also route to this college is very bad. College is in complete rural area. This college have societies and clubs that you can enjoy and improve your skills.

Hostel facilities are not that good. You won't be satisfied by food and water. In summer you will good water to drink as the water becomes very salty. Hostel fees is very good which is 12k per sem. You can also opt for pg outside the campus in walking distance of 30 min.

Admission process is simple you can get into this college by writing entrance exam by Wbjee, Jee. If you are from wb you can get a very good scholarship loan by the government of wb and if you are from other states you are considered as general category student.

The faculties are highly qualified and have received several achievements not only in India but also in other foreign country. If you need insights for higher studies they will provide you the best road map and will help in in writing your research papers.
