Admission to the engineering programs at this college can be obtained through an entrance exam, such as the Common Entrance Test (CET), or directly via management seats. The faculty quality is mixed, with 70% being knowledgeable and engaging, while the remaining 30% show a lack of interest in student performance. The college conducts three internal exams each month, with questions often provided in advance, making them relatively easy. The fee structure is affordable, with an annual state university fee of 70,000 INR during the reviewer's study period and approximately 98,984 rupees through KCET.
Additionally, there is a 5,000 rupees charge for placement services with a low success rate of about 10%, and a 2,020 rupees fee for minor or honors degree courses. Scholarships are available based on the caste system for lower-class and SC/ST students through government schemes, with no scholarships provided by the college itself. The placement situation is poor, with only BPO job offers available, and no top companies participating in campus placements despite good placement training.
Only two workshops have been provided so far, and no internships have been offered. Students are beginning their first mini project in the third year.
