Remarks

The college life was good and had quite a lot of experiences and memories . The facilities provided are good but the teaching staff and management can work a lot on improvement.

Entrance Preview

I had written K-CET exam but due to certain circumstances,I had to join by management quota. About the reason for choosing this college, a friend had sugested that this is a good college.

Course Curriculum Overview

To be honest, the electives provided to the students are unnecessary and inadvisable. Most of them are outdated and need to be upgraded right now so that the students could match up with other colleges.

Placement Experience

0.5

The only companies that visited the college campus offered BPO jobs and the management never seemed quite interested about placements.

College Events

I have witnessed college fest , college day and fresher's day during my tenure in the college.College fest was celebrated for the first time and it was worth appreciating.

Exam Structure

The college follows a semester wise system and in a period of six months, we have three internals , lab internals , 1 month of external which left few days of classes. The papers were checked across the university and sometimes the result came after the first internal of the next semester.

Faculty

The faulty standard was OK. It was a mixed lot but the truth is that the experience could have been much improved if a little effort had been made.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

They prepare very well for real world applications and they have 35lakh as highest package and average package is 6 to 7 lakh .some rural students face difficulties for python learning and c learning .

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

This college was my only last option because I was waiting for my KCET exam results, and the college I got through KCET was very far and not that good. By the time I was waiting for my KCET allotment. The other colleges were full. So this is the reason I had to join here because it was near and not so bad compare to other colleges. Think more than Twice

I had applied to many other colleges like new horizon, cmrit, ramaiah institute and many more through cet counselling.
