Sgpgi itself gives insternship and there is no stipend paid to the students, the duration of internship is 1 year and timing is from 9am to 5 pm. In radiology you can get hands on ct scan, mri, dsa, x-ray, Mammography, Flouroscopy.

The campus doesnt provide placements. Though sgpgi conducts its own test for vacancy of nursing. If you had studied from here chances are there youd get selected here inly and start doing job henceforth earning. I mean which institute doesn't prefer its own child. The students become illegible to give exam at the end of 4th year though there has been instances when people have cleared exam but couldnt join as degree process is late. Therefore its necessary to understand you can only join the job when you've the degree in hand. Mistly students who study here 5%-10% get job here itself. Rest of people get in other government hospitals. But its safe to say they all are earnibg good and are in government job. My plan after the degree is to possible join somewhee as tutor and side by side hustling for MSc for better pay scale and job perspectives. The bright side of this course is either you can go in clinical field or you can join as tutor. The sakary of nurse here in sgpgi is 1 lakh per month.

Internship is provided by SGPGI for all paramedical courses. It is a one year program ( except BPT, where internship is for 6 months due to course timing of 4 year) where students learn and gain experience about their courses in depth and get to do some real work. Stipend is not provided now but hopefully will be provided soon.

You can find various internships online, related or unrelated to your field of study. Although the course I am doing would not have any internship opportunity before completing college. The college gives an internship opportunity in the hospital in the 4th year of the college, to which a stipend of 5k/month is provided to each student. Yes, it is mandatory to perform the internship, we students of D.M are offered a stipend of Rs.10,940- 11,650 and the position offered is as senior residents.

All the students that pass out from here search their own jobs Just after the course we are getting 18 k for teaching in colleges as a stipend. On a regular basis they conduct placement activities and they grooming all students for placements and almost more than 3000 students get placement various sectors.

You can apply for higher education also. But at this time, most prefer to go for hospitals and start their professional career. Many people open their hospitals, and nursing homes and also small clinics except their hospital work.

Internships are provided and compulsory to go through which are actually a great exposure to the field. great. They provide you will a stipend also. There is a lot to learn for those willing. After the course, you can join any hospital because the degree of this college is a quite high level.

The internship is for a period of 6 months during which we are trained at the hospital affiliated to the college and gain a hands on experience. After finishing the degree, the students can apply as a nurse in a nursery school, a Nurse and Patient Educator, Junior Psychiatric Nurse, Nurse Manager, etc.
