The 4 years spent in the college were pretty good and i gained a lot out of it. I got to learn a lot in my academic as well as internship period. The teachers I had were very helpful and the facilities they provided were amazing.
Course Curriculum Overview
B.Sc. nursing degree program is a four-year full time program comprising of eight semesters. The curriculum prepares a student to become a registered nurse qualified to practice in either public or private healthcare settings.
Placement Experience
The internship is for a period of 6 months during which we are trained at the hospital affiliated to the college and gain a hands on experience. After finishing the degree, the students can apply as a nurse in a nursery school, a Nurse and Patient Educator, Junior Psychiatric Nurse, Nurse Manager, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for the course is around Rs.65,000 which is bifurcated down to Rs.50,000 as tuition fee, Rs.10,000 as caution money (to be refunded), and Rs.1000 as library fee. Rs.3000 has to be paid as exam fee and if opted for hostel, Rs.6000/month is the hostel rent plus Rs.3500 per month for the mess charges.
Campus Life
The college organizes a few functions which are important to our field, but celebrate it grandly. The college has nurse day, and other Indian festivals. The college has great labs and the library, the classrooms are kept well too.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel has single occupancy rooms which is a great thing for the students as they get their own personal space and security. The room rent per month is Rs.6000 along with mess charges at Rs.3500/per month. Rs.9500 pm is quite feasible for accommodation.
Admission
The college conducts its own entrance exam for the Nursing course which is a 100 mark objective paper. The admission is on the basis of the marks scored in the entrance, along with the qualification of the eligibility criteria.
Faculty
The college has enough and adequate faculty members in each department. The BSc. department has educated and disciplined faculty members who are especially trained in nursing in order to be able to impart quality education to the students.

You can apply for admission to the B.Sc Nursing course of SGPGIMS Lucknow if you have passed Class XII examination in Science stream from a recognized board. Admission will be granted based on the merit of the entrance test conducted by the college.
