However since it is an autonomous college, sem exams are conducted as per the colleges dates and qns papers are set by the college itself.
There is an exclusive placement cell for each department, where placements take place every year.reputed companies are our recruiters and select us after a standard interview in the campus.we are also trained for the interviews to ensure our best perfomance in the interaction.

their library is really educational and has a lot of informative books. anything we require is available there.
the school facilities including their clinic is rather helpful

Dislikes

the classroom are super heated because of the climate and they have done nothing much to deal with it.
the mess food is decent but could be better. sometimes it can be a bit stale

Placement Experience:

college had a good placement system. students have been placed at the major companies. companies to which student are recruited include EY, KPMG, Deloitte. about 50-70 percent students get placed every year. my plans are to attempt at campus placement at KPMG OR DELOITTE

Exam time, the exam timing is hectic but manageable
Fees, the fees are little bit expensive.

I choose bachelor of commerce finance and taxation along will ACCA. I choose this course because it is globally recognised certification. Rajagiri College of Social sciences provide classes before admission about the course. The timing of exam are little hectic, but it's manageable.

Placement Experience:

The college provides campus placement which is a main attraction at this time, usually, it starts from the fifth semester and a good number of our alumni are working in the Big 4s through this placement. Each year the number of students getting placed is also rising which is a positive sign.

Campus placements are conducted during the final year. Various companies such as EY, Deloitte, KPMG etc are the companies visited. Starting salary is 40,000/-. Plans after the degree is to get a placement in any of the company through the support of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of the course structure which includes B.Com integrated with professional studies such as CA/CMA/ACCA. Here, in RCSS you have to take up any of these professional courses as additional, not just the degree course and I chose ACCA. Of course, you need dedication and motivation to take the two courses and study them simultaneously within three years but it is worth it as you have a degree as well as a professional qualification within just three years and you are industry-ready. Believe I have come to know so many seniors who have cleared all the papers and passed from college with flying colors and been placed in the big 4s. Talking about faculties, all our teachers recruited here come with high qualifications some even have taken their PHDs, CAs, etc. The faculties are excellent because they provide support & give appropriate guidance to students to pursue their dreams.

Remarks:

The courses available included professional degrees like ACCA, CA, CIMA etc attaining these will help us to differ from other students at a young age. The college infrastructure is supreme, library is premier and hostel facilities were comparatively better than many. It is also located near to almost all transpotational facilities like bus, auto and even metro. The faculty is also quite good.
