- It is in an Urban region and thus easy transportation services are available
- It has got an aesthetic rooftop cafe and good ambience
- Good teaching staffs and most of the people are friendly
Dislikes
- As there is a need for 75 percentage attendance it gets difficult at times
- Students won't have much freedom as they would be mostly concentrated on studies
Course Curriculum Overview
The reason as to why I chose this college is that I was able to learn CIMA along with BCom in this college. CIMA is course which is rarely taught in other colleges in Kerala. I see this as a positive side of rajagiri college.
Internships Opportunities
As I'm in my second year right now I don't think that i will be able to provide an exact review on how internship in Rajagiri works. Internship is provided mostly in 2nd and 3rd years. Thus i will only be able to answer this question after this year.
Placement Experience
From the tals I had with my seniors and teaching staffs the fact that I have learned is that there is a good placement opportunity for the students who have studied in Rajagiri as mostly more than 70% of the students are being able to attain a job before completion of college from various multinational companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee structure for the course I have opted is 189000rs. The fee structure changes from one course to another and it ranges from 150000 to 200000. Apart from that if people opt for hostels they would be advised to pay 100000 per year for the same.
Campus Life
I would say that Rajagiri offers a more study focused life for the students who choses to learn there. There are extracurricular activities that can be done while learning but as the schedule for exams are a bit hectic, the chances that students can utilize for things other than study gets limited.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel has got nuce infrastructure and the students in hostel are controlled by the warden's in such a way that they wont be creating big problems which will affect the college's reputation. But there is not much freedom for students who opts to live in hostels as boys are expected to return back to hostel before 8pm and girls are expected to return back before 7pm.
Admission
I did not apply for much colleges as I applied for Rajagiri the same day that i got my results for 12th grade exams. The staffs in Rajagiri were quick to reply to my application as they send me an invite within weeks. Thus I utilized this chance and got enrolled in Rajagiri as soon as possible
Faculty
The exam system that exists in my college is a bit hectic as we have to attend exams every month. There won't be much free time for students because of this. Most of the teaching staffs are friendly with the students and they provide necessary guidence for the students.
