Dislikes
- There is no nightparties which I found a little devastating as comparing to other colleges in kochi has a hell of a night parties
- Security is very strict . Students feel as if the securities are the principal of the college and school
Course Curriculum Overview
As an autonomous college we do make some changes in the university curriculum but the change as enabled us to prepare and be ready to the real life situations. The timming of examination is low as we have to improve our writing speed.
Internships Opportunities
From second year onwards college provided us with internship opportunities. Tata, ngo , and serval internal national and multinational companies offer their internship to the students. As I am a first year I am not aware of the projects but it has enabled the students to clarify the given tasks more efficiently
Placement Experience
From sem 6 students can apply for placements. The placement parties will be enquiring about the students and start giving out the information on how to crackle the interview and the support provided by the faculty is very supportive. More than 80% students gets placement. My plans after getting degree is to pursue my chartered accountancy career and maybe start a business
Fees and Financial Aid
I have paid around 185000 for pursuing bcom with chartered accountancy. The registration fees for charted accountancy is not included in the internal fees. I got admission in merit but there is no reduction in fees. There is several scholarship opportunities provided by the college students castes there is a fees reduction. The college does not fail us in informing about any outside sources of scholarship
Campus Life
Splendore is the international fest for the management students and euphoria for the computer department held in October. The range of books available is immense we have three floors of library having different genre books. Extracurricular activities are in the range of 6/10 and for sports the college mainly focuses on basketball. They do offer a trip every year. There are many student run social groups and portals it has enabled the students to a more exposure to the real lyf world
Admission
I was having a clear idea on which college to choose. I have never. I have never Applied to any other colleges. As because I was very much aware on which course and college to choose. The only college I did a comparison is st teresas kochi I didn't move forward because it was a girls only college and I needed to be in a more opened for all college
Faculty
The relationship between the faculty and students as very good.the most liked faculty would be oru marketing mam Sharon. There are two exams before the sem which we find difficult as it is really hard to cope with exams bcom and charted accountancy classes. Allmost 98% students pass in all subjects even though the exams are a bit challenging
Night Life
The college closes at 7 so there not much of a night life. in the college for students . Hostel curfew time for girls is 7 and boys is 8.30 and no one will enter the gates of hostel after that its very strict on that case. The famous hangout places are skypia a rooftop canteen and amigos. Yes the locality is very safe to hang out at night
