Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Kottayam has opened the CAT 2026 online registration for admission to various Postgraduate programmes and BBA LLB (Hons) for the 2026–27 academic session.

The application process began on February 20, 2026, and candidates can apply through the official portal until March 19, 2026. The entrance examination will be conducted in May 2026, and further stages like interview and rank list will be announced later.

Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) is conducting CAT 2026 for admission to various MSc, MA, M.Tech, MBA and other Postgraduate programmes offered by its teaching departments and inter-school centres for the 2026–27 academic session.

Along with PG programmes, admission to BBA LLB (Hons) under the School of Indian Legal Thought (SILT) is also being offered through CAT 2026.

BBA LLB (Hons)- Seat Intake & Eligibility:

Total Seats: 50
Minimum Eligibility:
- 45% aggregate marks in Plus Two for General category
- 42% aggregate marks for OBC candidates
- 40% aggregate marks for SC/ST and PwD candidates

Candidates can submit one application for a maximum of four different programmes. Submitting more than one application may lead to cancellation of candidature.

The application fee for MGU CAT 2026 is ₹1250 for General category candidates for one programme, and ₹250 for each additional programme, up to a maximum of four programmes.

For SC/ST candidates, the fee is ₹625 for one programme and ₹125 for each additional programme (maximum four programmes). Candidates are advised to complete the application process before the deadline and carefully select their preferred programmes before final submission.
