My one piece on rajagiri

Likes

Infrastructure is great with well equiped and modern lab facilities
One of the best Library in Kerala which provide access to several hundred thousand books, journals, research article and more
Hostel mess is well planned and overall good compared other colleges

Dislikes

Class timing is from 9 am to 4/5 pm, which is one of the worst timing for a PG student.
Doesnt fully utilize the level of expertise of the faculties with Phd, as the college tends to assign them for quality assurance
Its a College with unnecessary school kind-of policies which can discourage the students from learning.

Admission:

Mainly the curriculum, infrastructre and the level of the teaching faculties was my reason for the admission but after the first sem the faculties were all over the place with other tasks other than teaching and it was quite dissappointing

Likes

Our college have many facilities like gym and 3 cafeterias and a football ground.
Our faculties are very nice. I am very helpful towards the students.
Our college have one of the largest largest library kerala, which has twenty five thousand books and has been divided into four different floors

Dislikes

Because our college is located in the heart of the city, we doesn't have enough places in the college campus to hang out with our friends

Admission:

I have also prepared for the common university entrance test even though I got selected. I chose rajgiri, due to there prestigious. History and the causes they offer, and I also got it into Symbiosis Hyderabad and also into BITS Pilani, the eligibility to join our college is to have a 90% in the plus 2.

Dark side of Rajagiri

Likes

The teaching staffs are well educated and rather than just spoon feeding the students with random topics they use methods like seminar,roleplay etc to enhance our skills
The College campus is well maintained,clean and eco friendly
The College has got a NAAC ranking of 20 in India which give certificate value and helps us while applying for jobs

Dislikes

The campus lacks many facilities for a professional college,it does not have a College ground and uses the Rajagiri schools ground as its own , swimming pool,parks etc are also not available
Apart from academic the College lacks any other activities like cultural programmes and fest are really limited
College give priority only to basketball and no othe sports is supported

Admission:

I didn't consider applying to other colleges because rajagiri was one of the few colleges in kerala with ACCA and is the best in the basis of academics .And rajagiri provides 9 paper exemption which was not available in other colleges during the time of my admission

A simple review of RCSS

Likes

the campus is very clean and beautiful and well structured. the campus life is very good and social interactions are good as well.
the placement cell provide continuous guidance and assurance throughout your college life.
the girl to boy ratio is around 3:2 but it depends on the department to deparment

Dislikes

the fact that we have to wear uniform on all working days

Admission:

i didnt apply to any other college as i was sure to get admission through a recommendation and my marks in 12th grade. i close this college as it is the top college of kerala . The admission process is pretty simple as you apply throught the website and await for the admission mail. after that you submit basic documents luke mark sheets identification papers etc. the admission process is very straight forward with no complications. the faculty guide you through the entire process

The faculty over here are really nice. They make sure everyone understand
The canteen food is really affordable for the students
The campus is clean and provides a peaceful atmosphere

Dislikes

The college has different rules and regulations which are to be strictly followed by the students
The number of events and programs conducted are few. And students from different courses especially from professional courses are not mostly allowed to attend
The infrastructure of the college is really poor. The college doesn't have a ground of its own

Admission:

I choose this college because it has been highly accredited by the naac accrediation. This college comes under India's top colleges. It is highly prestigious college known for the holistic development of the students be it in curriculum and extra curriculum activities. The cutoffs are really high to get into the college. There is no interview process to be undergone

The classrooms are really spacious and they have air conditioning
The teachers are great and they are very much qualified
The placement cell is very great in Rajagiri.

Dislikes

the Rajagiri campus is very much small with only a one huge building
There is not much fests or activities that you can participate in
Rajagiri doesn't even have their own football ground or even an auditorium

Admission:

I applied to only Rajagiri and Sacred Hearts college. I got into both of them but I chose Rajagiri since I heard that scared hearts doesn't give that much importance to acca along with Bcom. When it comes to academics Rajagiri is ofcourse the best

Likes

The class are air-conditioned with good ventilation.
Extraordinary library in three floors with elevators.
Three cafeterias named skypiea,cloud 9 and these sell good quality products only.

Dislikes

Faculties of bba department is not at all good when compared to bcom
Most of the faculties don't know local language which is hard for some students.
Some teachers teach only in local language which is hard for international students

Admission:

This college was the top number one college for BBA in Kerala that's why I choose Rajagiri. the admission procedure is simple and easy. Anyone with good marks in plus two can get admission. There is management quota and sports quota too.

Likes

College infrastructure and environment is very much comforting.
Majority of the teachers have doctorate qualifications and industr experience.
International student exchange program is available to study a tri/year abroad.

Dislikes

Tight schedule of classes in the first year
It is mandatory to stay in college hostels
Completion of dissertation in second year which is very stressful

Admission:

Rajagiri college was my only choice for doing my post graduation because of the college's reputation as one of the top business school in Kerala. Also the college has an AACSB accreditation and placement opportunities which makes it different from other colleges here. KMAT, CMAT, CAT, XAT,MAT exams are the accepted entrance exams in the college. The cutoff for KMAT is 108, CMAT is 30 percentile, CAT is 50 percentile, XAT is 15 and MAT is 500. The admission process include a test, GD and PI.

Likes

A lot of facilities available for students
Faculties are very nice and teaching is really good
Campus is very peaceful and calm in the evenings

Dislikes

There is very hectic schedules sometimes. .
Sometimes professional classes are in the evening which is very draining
Classes till evening and thats very draining

Admission:

I didnt get rejected from the other colleges infact i got in every college I applied but i chose rajagiri according to the NIRF ranking its the number one college in kerala . I also got the course i wanted here . Also i personally felt like there will be a lot of opportunities if i study here
