Course Curriculum Overview
I heard great things about acca course and decided to do it in Rajagiri because of its reputation and because of the pass rate of the acca papers in Rajagiri. The exams are very frequent in Rajagiri with two internals per semester then the semester exam. so with two semesters in one year you have to write 6 exams in a year along with acca exams
Internships Opportunities
For B.com there is not much internship opportunities but I think for BBA it is important to do internships in the second year itself. Most of the roles offered are from big 4 companies like Deloitte etc
Placement Experience
students become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. Alot of the big 4 companies visits and alot of students are recruited from here. for bachelors I think the highest package offered is 70k pm
Fees and Financial Aid
Okay so for the first year since im taking Acca along with Bcom, i had to pay 2,15,000. second year 2,05,000 and the third year 2,25,700. I think for bcom courses with add ons like CA and all the fees is lower than this. and one thing is the Acca fees does not include the exam fees which we have to pay seperately which can range from 30k - 20k for one exam. There is many scholarships available which the college will notify you about
Campus Life
The main festival is Splendore, where students from different colleges can come and participate. but there is not much campus life in Rajagiri. It is mostly like a school, well tbh ig it's worse than a school when it comes to extracurricular activities and fests
Hostel Facilities
Girls hostel provides us with a bed, a table and an almirah in a room. the food quality used to be good but now it's degrading and there has been cases of getting hair and a worm from the food prepared here but for the most part it's alright if you know how to adjust
Admission
I applied to only Rajagiri and Sacred Hearts college. I got into both of them but I chose Rajagiri since I heard that scared hearts doesn't give that much importance to acca along with Bcom. When it comes to academics Rajagiri is ofcourse the best
Faculty
Rajagiri have so many qualified faculties as well as one or two faculties who are not that up to date. The faculty student relationship is actually very great here. Some faculties makes you want to actually study and go to class everyday. There is two internals per semester and its pretty easy to pass all the exams here
Night Life
there is no nightlife in our campus. especially if you're in hostel you have to get in before 7pm also there is no fests that takes place at night here. for girls hostel it is 7 and for boys hostel it's 8:30pm
Other Applied Colleges
Sacred Heart College - [SHC] | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] {Hons.} (Taxation)
