What Students Say

Likes

Nature friendly campus and atmosphere.
Large college library and lots of book collection.
Friendly faculties and lots of fest are arranged for students entertainment.

Dislikes

The department wise programmes are sometimes become fight between students.
There is no uniform in the campus. I am littile much disappointed in that point.
Due to the lots of fest programmes and auspicious vibe of the college we can't study properly.

I personally choose B.Com because I like the commerce field. The Faculties are very friendly and they provide the best teaching techniques. Faculties are qualified NET and SET. They provide semester exams. Not too difficult to pass.

Placement Experience

By completing the last semester students are eligible for campus placement. There is a very large number of companies recruited from the campus including IT companies like Infosys, Technocrat, etc. The average package is more than 15k.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee for B.Com is 26200 per year. Course duration 3 years and full-time study modes. The total Course fee is 78600. Here many scholarships are provided like post matric scholarship, Suvarna jubilee merit scholarship, and so on.

Campus Life

There are so many fests arranged by the college to entertain students. Department-wise programs are arranged to encourage students. The department-wise cultural program and sports are conducted. NCC NSS all are there to involve students' social issues.

Hostel Facilities

The women's college hostel is inside the campus. There is a time for prayer and study. Good food is prepared for us. Friendly atmosphere in the hostel and their staff. The registration process is done by the campus and in charge of the hostel is the principal. The library is good.

Hostel Fee: INR 22000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of this course is higher secondary education in any stream. You can find the application form on the Internet or in the college and the application fee is just 320. If you have any reservations the amount is decreasing. A very fast admission process is there.

i would rate it 3.5/5 it is relevent and covers most of the topic afterall add some more practical and real world could make it even better real world problems don't exist in silos coming subjects like data science or psychology with business prepare students for complex decision making

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in there 6th semester during 3rd year. The students has to score highest grades and should be capable of any skills and has to showed up in academic skills are eligible for getting placements. Sometimes the federal banks and other service centres approached the college for placing the students. The students from our department are placed in companies like( Tata Consultancy services and Accenture) . I think the highest package and average packages are around 25000. After all, my plans are degree is to getting placed in any reputed companies and further more.

Remarks:

The college is well known for inducing skills to students holistically. The facilities work very hard not just to complete the course but to make students fully aware about the subject matter. There is no political influence found in this college.

The best college in calicut city

Remarks:

Our college is the best but the college have not a college bus and a canteen. The students are come to the college with bikes and cars and private bus and students are eating food from out of the college campus and other hotels.

This particular course is only in st.xaviers college thumba trivandrum.thats the main reason .other colleges do have media studies but not with English .And like I said the college ambiance is great.its also little far away from my home so I have to travel daily and after one year me and my friends rented a home for us and its an memorable experience for me.i also applied many colleges but I got allotment only in this college in the 3rd allotment and so I only have the option to permanent admission.
