Course Curriculum Overview

I am very interested to study economics. I want to study economics deeply and want to go higher studied to economics at other universities. Our faculty is well-qualified and experienced teachers. there are 35 lecturers for 6 subjects. All students are faced the hardships to attend the term exams and getting an expectable mark to score.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 26200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Compared to the other colleges in Kerala, st. Xavier's college fees are affordable. The yearly fee is not more than rs.10000/- depending on the courses. There are some scholarships in our college. Scholarships instituted by Management, staff welfare and individual are there.

Campus Life

Life on campus is super and very delightful. The annual fest was conducted in December month. There is a very big and advanced library in this college having thousands of books in all subjects. The classrooms are very nice and fully equipped. Sports meet are common, and college has teams in all categories that we won so many trophies. This college has a nature club. writers club etc.

Admission

The student must have obtained a 45% mark in each of the 4 subjects in the calculation. Must pass all papers as per the respective board. Marks in the +2 level mark sheet must be entered in the application form. The application form is collected from the college office.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Admission:

This university is entirely based on art and culture for getting admission here I gave an aptitude test and then interview. Total marks for both was 75 50 for test and 25 for interview.. questions were basic if we used your analysis power.

Actually in my college there is no entrance exam in my course, I chose this course (BA economics) because of my parents advice and I know how this course is important in the future I got admission on the merits basis. I got an admission card from the college. So there is no other procedures, admission based on plus two marks.

This particular course is only in st.xaviers college thumba trivandrum.thats the main reason .other colleges do have media studies but not with English .And like I said the college ambiance is great.its also little far away from my home so I have to travel daily and after one year me and my friends rented a home for us and its an memorable experience for me.i also applied many colleges but I got allotment only in this college in the 3rd allotment and so I only have the option to permanent admission.
